The regime has moved up from being experts at Chicago style thuggery to make things happen to the international murder scene. The head of the regime spoke at West Point addressing the need for troops in its imperial wars. The course of action chosen by the regime is neither that of victory nor a complete pull out. To make matters worse, he has asked Britain and France (a call for 1500) for young people from those countries to be sent to Afghanistan as well. Given that Britain has surrendered its sovereignty, I wonder why he didn’t just ask the EU for troops and each state sends some. Although his use of international troops looks like statesmanship, in many ways he is following the pattern of a failed crusade. It is as if he is leading an anti-crusade in the Middle East.
The wars have already cost over $700 Billion in money and 4,600 in American lives, with another 1500 in lives of allies.With the massive expenses in blood and treasure, the empire has nothing to show for it. The next question is how many lives will be too many. The head of the regime has already asked for 30,000 more troops. That is roughly the amount of US troops sent to occupy Texas during the occupation after the war. That is a large number of troops. It is as if the troops and their leaders are learning how to run a ‘reconstruction’ campaign rather than conquer the nation. We know that they are using it to test new weapons, so it is not far fetched that the operation is about testing out new techniques of reconstruction campaigns that will eventually be put into practice.
In a Southern Nation, there would not be imperialistic wars. We do not have a dog in that fight and we need to be out of there. In a Southern Nation, soldiers would be allowed to vote and their votes counted. In a Southern Nation, there would not need to be mercenaries to fight the war for us. When our troops are engaged, they would not have “rules of engagement” to constrain them from doing their duty.
