Keeping our focus

In keeping up with the daily news, the many events throughout the empire and its States distract people from our focus on self-rule for the South. Although it is unpleasant to consider what the Governor of Colorado will allow in the State or what is going on in New England. The actions in those States reflects the moral climate that has grown in those areas. It is not surprising that the tolerance of immorality and wickedness abounds in those areas where the Yankee mindset has managed to gain a strong foothold. Even though those areas need prayer and concern, we as Southrons need to maintain our focus on the South. We need to continue persevering in our struggle for self-rule rather than allowing the fringe elements of society to dictate by court rulings and fiat what is acceptable in our communities.

In an effort to keep our focus, I have placed a short speech by Dr. J. Michael Hill in the blog to bring you to remembrance what our focus needs to be.

Misplaced Priorities from CONgress

What is the Texas CONgress critter Shiela Jackson-Lee doing in Pakistan? The CONgress Critter claims she went there to “ensure the fairness of the elections”. Fairness! It is not fair that the very thugs she and her fellow CONgress critters marched for in Jena, Louisiana beat up a Texas student. It was not fair that the votes for Texas to join and rejoin the Union were conducted under the scrutiny of armed Yankee troops in 1845 and the 1860’s.

It was not fair that the Constitution was violated when the territories of Colorado and New Mexico were stolen from Texas. It was not fair that Texas had to pay for border protection from 1845 until 1888, because the United States refused to honor their promises. Now they pay for border protection, but then don’t protect it. We had better border protection when we did it ourselves.

Instead of dealing with historic or even modern unfairness in her own State, it is easier to pick on some Middle Eastern country and make sure they play fair. Somewhere the priorities of this CONgress critter were shorted out. This is a clear case of misplaced priorities. How many other people here in our nation will be hurt so that she can watch elections and have photo ops in Pakistan?

Free Texas from such inane insanity.

True to the humbug spirit.

The headlines on World Net Daily  addressed the recent vote taken by CONgress to acknowledge Christmas. It drew attention to the CONgress critters that opposed the measure, noting that many of them had supported the ramadan measure passed in recent months. The article identifies Diana Degette as a major player among the democrats not supporting Christmas. In thinking over the situation and researching her stands on issues this vote is consistent with her positions.

Diana DeGette is pro-choice, which indicates that the value of life is conditional with her. My own observation is that a person’s attitude toward children, both born and unborn is a good indicator of their attitude toward life in general and their politics. She does not value life, so why should she value Christmas? She has labored hard for women to have access to abortions, so for her to devalue a celebration commemorating the birth of our Lord is consistent with her position. Although a territory at the time of the war, Colorado was firmly in Yankee hands (taken in a sham land deal from Texas by the way). It is clear that that Yankee spirit still lives in Colorado in the form of Ms. Degette.

The writer, Charles Dickens said “The Northern onslaught upon slavery was no more than a piece of specious humbug designed to conceal its true desire for economic control of the Southern states“.  Dickens knew humbug when he saw it. It sounds like Ms. Degette has some true Yankee humbug in her as well. Let’s take a closer look at where her money comes from:

DIANA DEGETTE (D-CO)
Top Industries The top industries supporting Diana DeGette are:

1 Lawyers/Law Firms $60,569
2 Health Professionals $55,000
3 Pharmaceuticals/Health Products $35,901
4 Public Sector Unions $31,500

Are there any surprises here? Lawyers are her top supporters. She is a lawyer, and more specifically a civil rights lawyer. With all her efforts at keeping abortion clinics opened, who is surprised at health professionals as her #2 contributor?  Would it surprise you that she favors gun control, using the government force in telling employers who to hire, favors hate crime legislation, wants sexual orientation protected by civil rights, and strongly opposes the death penalty? Here is a site that details her stands on the issues. She and Tom Tancredo have gone head to head on the CHIP program which included providing health services to the children of illegal aliens especially the issue of children having to show proof of citizenship. She forgets that it isn’t her money that she is wanting to give away to others.

She is also a big supporter of embryonic stem cell research. (follow the money..). It sounds like the Yankees of old that Dickens warned us about. Her pro-choice stance is not so much about the stated issue of helping women, but rather making money off of the abortion business through embryonic stem cell research. She understands that Christmas is about celebrating birth. She is more interested in making money from children that are not born, increasing the size of government and generally keeping the democratic political policy machine going like her predecessor Pat Schroeder than in celebrating and honoring birth.

What does this have to do with Southern Independence? It exposes the humbug of the Yankees who seek greater amounts of control over the lives of Southrons and want more of their money. It shows us the true values of those Yankees who are serving as CONgress critters, by looking at what they do and not what they say. Despite all her concerns for the safety of toys, she has done more to make it easier to eliminate children than to protect them. She needs some of the true spirit of Christmas. Dickens saw through the Yankees of the 19th century and it would benefit us to see through the Yankees of the 21st century. It alerts us the importance of family and the dangers of those opposed to it.

Free the South from such people who hate our traditions and way of life!

Colorado Students Surrender Their Culture!

Students at Boulder High School have reciting a modified form of the pledge of allegiance. In the newly modified version, they pledge to “diversity” and add the phrase ‘with choice’. The article correctly identifies the pledge as a violation of church and state. As a Southron, the pledge is nothing more than a slap in the face foisted upon the nation by the socialist pastor Francis Bellamy. It amounts to nothing more than a pledge of loyalty. How many of you realize that the original salute to the pledge was similar to the fascist/Nazi salute?

Pledges of loyalty were common during the medieval ages in Europe. Kings and tyrants loved pledges of loyalty/allegiance. It seems that the dark lords of the empire like those old ways and want to keep remnants of them. Even in Rome, the citizens were required to annually make a pledge of allegiance to the Empire and the Emperor.

This one bothers me for several reasons. 1) the students are pledging to diversity. Diversity amounts to nothing more than selling out your own culture and cultural ways. Diversity is looking at cultures as if they were all of equal importance. Historically, diversity has often led to problems for nations and kingdoms. If the Yankees in Colorado want to sell out, they can choose to do so, but I do not understand the reason for doing so. Yankees do not always make sense, even when they are from Colorado.

2) It is historically ironic that Colorado, which was part of Texas but sold under unscrupulous terms* to the Yankees, has now sold themselves out. They have a tradition of selling out, with the exception of Tom Tancredo. It is because Colorado was part of the Republic of Texas that I feel inclined to mention this news item. If Coloradoans do not want their culture and State, Texas could buy it back. In some ways, since the Empire was negligent in doing what it said it would do, Texas could by contract law reclaim Colorado. I doubt that any lawyer would want to take such a case, because it would embarrass the Empire and expose its negligence.

Are the kids ashamed of their culture, or have they been indoctrinated to hate their culture? I have to wonder what it going on in Colorado. At Littleton, Brian Rohrburg, father of one of the shooting victims described the schools as ‘godless’. Well, it looks like they are now culture less as well. This is not the Colorado of Ralph Moody.

* The story is an interesting one where a manic-depressive, alcoholic Texas Senator went against the wishes of the citizens of Texas and arranged a deal with the devil United States selling off huge tracts of land for ten million dollars. He ramrodded the deal. His efforts caused him to loose the next election, which was the first major election he ever lost.
