As Texians and Southrons you have likely heard the comment “Why don’t you just get over it?”. There are many who want to change the history of the War along with its causes and consequences. The rewriting of the events concerning the war began before the War ended and continues to the present day. I was reminded of the importance of remembering the War when I saw a recent article on how the Pentagon is researching ‘Narrative Networks’. Their research seeks to disrupt your thinking and brain processing regarding events that lead to political violence, like the stripping away of rights as occurred in the Second War of Independence or the Constitutional War.

The researchers know the power of stories in determining how the brain interprets information. If they can alter your narrative, then you will interpret events differently. Research like this reminds me why in the Bible God wanted the people to remember key events over and over again. We likewise need to rehearse key Biblical events along with the events leading up to and during the war. Since people, and governments often follow patterns, knowing and recognizing those patterns is important. Knowing the patterns of government, especially when it comes to abusing their power is important. Many agendas would never be in place without the use of force.

This new science amounts to an elevated form of brain-washing. The researchers know that they need to change the narrative (story) along with developing communities that re-enforce those altered narratives so that the new version will be viewed as ‘trustworthy’ and be accepted as ‘true’. It no longer matters what is factually correct, the Pentagon researchers are more interested in developing what narratives or stories will continue supporting the modern version of the empire. Every pantheon needs stories to continue its existence. The Pentagon is seeking what stories they can tell the masses to keep them pacified and following the ‘official’ version of history.

Keep telling the stories to your children, your friends and your compatriots. The thin Grey line still lives as long as we keep telling and retelling our cultural narratives which extol Christian virtues, Southern heroes and Southern culture.

With greater frequency, conservative blogs and pages are under fire. Whether the fire is in the form of spam, flamers, plants or being taken down the end game is the squelching of freedom of speech. In the latest broadside, a conservative blog in New York was taken down by Google. Google claimed that the site was spamming others, therefore it was taken down. What had they been writing about? The blogger dared to speak out about Kahlid Sheik Mohammed. There are certain topics that will get blogs flagged or taken down. Not only are there ‘off limit’ topics, there are some topics and keywords that get the blog flagged.

I have had over 100 of my pages taken down by the ‘censors’ at either google or other places. I was blacklisted by google for a while as well for one of my sites, so I am well aware of the topics and practices that lead to censorship. Although you readers do not see the spam attacks, I can assure you that they are common. This blog is often on the empire’s radar along with government plants making posts to it. This is part of the struggle for maintaining free speech. Although free speech is ‘protected’ under the bill of rights, (although the executive orders curtail the places where free speech occurs), it does not surprise me that the head of the regime struggles with the Constitution.

Is it any wonder that the head of the regime openly criticises the Constitution as being ‘flawed’?

For his supposedly being a Constitutional scholar, he is ignorant regarding the Constitution. The very issues he raises are answered with “it is not in there because it is a states rights issue, and not an issue for the federal government to decide”. States Rights is the answer to the gender and race issues he raises. Had he read and understood the Constitution, he would know this. But, like his role model, the tyrant Lincoln, he sees things in the Constitution that others do not see. It is amazing that with all this searching that he does not see how freedom of speech is being attacked.

Instead of free speech being under fire, we need liberty. President Davis did not censor the newspapers like Lincoln did. President Davis did not incarcerate editors and publishers like Lincoln did. Now it seems that the head of the regime is wanting to be more and more like Lincoln.

In politics, one of the best ways to hide what you are doing is to accuse the other side of doing what you are doing. The democrats are experts as such tactics and manipulation. In the latest, they are accusing the conservatives of using ‘code words’. These code words supposedly send racial messages.

In the same article, the 0-regime admits to using ‘messaging’ as they call it to push the Obamacare program. The example they gave is how the regime sent out mother’s day cards promoting the program. Never mind that the Obamacare program seeks to use taxpayer monies to kill children by means of abortion, they use terms like women’s care, which actually means ‘murder of unwanted children’ in order to push their agenda. The left has long used ‘code words’ or messaging in getting their propaganda out.

When you hear ‘equality’ it really means socialism. When you hear ‘justice’ it means set asides and preferential treatment. When you hear ‘progressive’, it means radical agendas ahead. When you hear ‘American values’, it means America as a propositional nation, rather than Conservative Christian morals. When you hear ‘patriotic’ it means that you are following their agenda. Social justice means ‘reconstruction. ‘Intolerance’ means that you have dared to speak out.

Beware, when the liberals or ‘progressives’ talk, what they say is not what they mean. They are masters as using code words and psyops to confuse the public. They are the ones that benefit from confusion because when people are confused, they say ‘no’ or remain inactive. The confusion is aimed at stopping any criticism of their precious programs and social agenda.

Words have meanings. Knowing the hidden messages and tactics behind the progressives is critical to Southern freedom. They may talk like they have patriotic values, making references to family values, freedom of religion, and justice, but instead of being a reference to Bible–believing one-man one-woman families, they are referring to non-traditional ones, the freedom of religion means they want you to shut up when a mosque is being built in your neighborhood, like what happened in Galveston, and when they talk about ‘justice’, you better hold onto your wallet and defend yourself, because they believe they know how best to spend your money and raise your family.

On traveling across Texas this weekend, there were many lessons I learned from noticing the vehicles around me. One of the popular sentiments on trucks was that of “Supporting our troops because they are fighting for our liberty” sentiment. Such expressions sound good and can often get people to rally around the flag. What bothered me was that I know what the politicos say we are fighting for in Afghanistan and it it NOT liberty. It is NOT to protect America. When the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tells Afghan women, “We will not abandon you.” She is promising to use our troops to defend Afghan women. Even the Washington Post recognizes that the empire is fighting for the women of Afghanistan, NOT American liberty.

Let me guess, you thought that the troops were fighting for the American way of life? That is NOT what they are being sent into harm’s way to accomplish. In the sixties, Country Joe posed the question “What are we fightin’ for?” This is still an important question. What you assume that your sons, daughters, brothers and sisters are fighting for is not what the politicians say we are fighting for. The empire wants you to believe that your sacrifice is for “America” and for liberty, chicken fried steak, and other things such as that, yet the reality is far from that.

I wonder if all those people who put stickers on their cars proclaiming that they “Support our troops which are fighting for our freedoms” if they knew the real mission defined by the empire is that of protecting the women of that region from the practice of religious beliefs that the hold firm to. Sending our sons and daughters to protect a people from themselves is NOT about protecting our homeland.

Instead of sending troops on asinine missions, we need to protect our own borders and liberties from those who want to take them away.

If it was not bad enough that the head of the regime kicked off his re-election campaign on Karl Marx’s birthday, now one of his financial advisers (Rick Bookstabber) is quoting Marx to justify the regimes continuation of ‘class warfare’.

The irony, is that 0-regime is not the first that used Karl Marx for an inspiration. The Lincoln regime did as well. The Lincoln regime went even further and hired many communist generals to lead its army of occupation on their invasion of the South. Class warfare was used then and is being used again. It seems that millions died due to Marx in the 19th century, more millions in the 20th and we are on our way to even more in the 21st century. Many in the American public do not realize that what they consider the ‘good old united States Army’, once had numerous communist generals and officers leading troops. After Lincoln’s War, a good number of those communists served as ambassadors to other nations representing the Union. Having a socialist in the Presidency is nothing new. Having socialist promoting policy abroad is nothing new. If this information is new to you, then you have a lot of catching up to do on your history.

Marxists in the White House and Marxists advisers are not new, nor are they newsworthy. The question is whether or not the people care enough to do something different. This same policy, different century stuff is getting old. Instead of maintaining the same old policy, consider who you vote for very seriously.

The Economic Stimulus Act of 2008 funded many things, including green energy and the so-called ’smart grid’. We have already seen what happened with the green energy companies. The former executives are living the life of Riley on the taxpayer dime. I have addressed the danger of the so-called smart grid several times in the past. This thing is a threat to personal liberty, fosters energy dependence, is a threat to privacy along with other dangers. The grid is in the news again as a hacking expert, David Chalk addresses how the grid will be hacked within three years. He points out that it will not only be hacked, there will be a catastrophic failure. Given that the 0-regime has worked diligently toward the destruction of our energy resources and our access to them, it is no wonder that they want the smart grid. It gives the regime control over many aspects of our lives and energy consumption.

Liberty includes the freedom to use energy however you want to without government interference or government rationing. When you can not wash your clothes or run your computer or power saw when you want, you do not have true liberty. The smart grid is a danger that needs to be stopped. Fortunately Texas is on another grid than the one much of the empire is on. There are increasing pressures for Texas to be on the smart grid. Sadly the Public Utility Commission has just been suckered into joining the cooperative pushing the smart grid.

The push for the smart grid is real, even here in Texas. There are some serious health concerns with the smart meters which emit 100 times more radiation than cell phones being placed in the homes. Not only is there radiation concerns, the level of radiation has altered brain functioning with just a short exposure.

These meters transmit for a range of about 2 miles and can produce serious health problems for humans and anything else within the transmission range.

If you are serious about not wanting the government to be monitoring your power consumption, or exposing you to unsafe EMF transmission then you need to act soon, since the comment period for allowing opt-out options in Texas closes June 28 of this year.

Instead of Smart meters being foisted upon us, we need liberty. We need to choose whether or not we want the fiendish devises and the fiendish smart grid.

Perhaps this is why issues like the birth certificate and other matters can be lied about so easily. It is a pick and choose your own truth. That makes his regime what intellectuals refer to a ‘post-modern’. Each person chooses their own truth. They choose their truth about his policies about who he is and about what he stands for. Post-modernism may be stimulating in the classroom, but it makes for a shaky foundation on which to run an empire.

Second, the pick and choose truth lifestyle raises questions about whether he know what the truth is. It is highly possible that he does not know what the ‘truth’ is. Since he chooses and remakes himself all the time, the only thing that remains the same is his deceit.

In the south, manhood meant that you stood for something. Not only did you stand for something, you did your best to remain consistent in what you stood for. You made it a point to be ‘instant in season and out’. Apparently with today’s politicos, it is not essential to be a man of character, or consistent in anything but your intentions. Instead of such malleable leaders, we need firm resolute statesmen, who are more determined to do the right thing than to ruin things.

While the head of the regime was in transit to Afghanistan to promote the anniversary of ordering the assassination of Osama bin Laden, he reportedly posted a picture to twitter. The picture carried the slogan, “There are no red states or blue states, just the United States”. The photo and slogan convey a strong message of empire. Gone are the distinctions of individual states. Gone are their individual laws and morals. The new United States is a ‘unified’ imperial state.

In this new version of the empire, poor Louisiana is engulfed by the ‘fearless leader’. Arkansas and Missouri are also obscured by his shadow. The designation of ‘Ole Miss’, raises questions as to whether this is a nation being illustrated or a college football poster. The harsh colors do not show the lack of blue or red, but rather a mush of ugliness emerging from the forcing of the colors together. Although the term “United” is used, there is no uniting of the colors. Like many other forms of propaganda art, the picture carries the message of being ‘One’, which is what the empire wants. Like many actions of the regime, the truth is 180 degrees from what is said. The picture proclaims ‘United’, yet the font, colors and composition scream ‘fragmentation’. Is it a picture of a nation or a man or the melding of nation into the man? Since this is modern art, who knows. The face is not that of a human, but rather a multi-colored zombie, with harsh colors that convey a sense of coldness and harshness. This is not the face of a warm, caring human, but rather that of a harlequin zombie.

Since the head of the regime endorsed it, it carries a message he approves of. This is the American empire that he claims is ‘United’, even though Alaska and Hawaii are not shown, but…hey at one time he thought we had 56 States, so perhaps this is an improvement.

Instead of propaganda art and socialist campaign slogans like “Forward”, we need liberty and liberty loving people who cling to their unique cultures.

The EPA hatchet man for Texas, Al Armendariz, has resigned from his position. You may remember him from my previous posts regarding this Statist and his heavy handed actions in Texas (More Government Meddling in North Texas, An Undeclared War is happening in Texas) . This former Chemical Engineering Professor from SMU was on a crusade regarding the cement plants and refineries in Texas. He already disliked the laws regarding Ozone in Texas on taking the position. While in the position, pulled permits on many plants, forcing them to re-apply again. It was during re-application that he tightened the screws on them. Such actions are punitive and not in the best interest of Texas. Waging a war on Texas industry via using the federal hammer is nothing new, he is just the latest person to be in the news about it. We have seen heavy handed federal meddling since occupation began in 1865.

Instead of such meddling, we need liberty. We need Texas to decide the rules for its industry rather than an agency who has no Constitutional authority to meddle in Texas. The video which landed him in trouble was taped in 2010. His actions were nothing more than carrying out his threats. Some liberal pundits are making a big deal about his use of the term crucify. This is typical. The liberal media get hung up on a a word and what is said, rather than being indignant about the many Texans who lost their jobs due to his personal agenda. Once more the liberal democrats show that they do not care about the common working man, only about what is said and how good the sound bites are. The Republicans are not much better, I just do not have much to say about them right now. The bottom line is that under him, Texans lost jobs. Texas energy was threatened. He exercised the actions of a petty tyrant toward Texas. We do not need heavy handed bureaucrats. Instead, we need liberty and people being put to work in good jobs.
