The Obama regime continues sinking in the polls. As the ship of empire continues sinking, Vice President Joe Biden continues blaming others for the bad choices and policies of this regime. His Summer of Recovery is now called a ‘Bush Recession‘. It is amazing how this regime flip-flops on issues such as the economy.
Any serious student of economics knows that unstable laws lead to unstable economics. We have a regime that has radically changed the policies and laws. Logic dictates with such a radical change, that there will be changes in the economy. People can no longer make sound business decisions, due to the instability of the laws and policies. This leads to economic chaos. Rather than call it a Congressional recession or an Obama recession, since it was Obama’s policies passed by the Congress (come to think of it the Democratic Congress passed Bush’s policies as well-so it would be a Pelosi Recession without question.) This regime has stymied construction jobs, oil field jobs, military jobs, and health care jobs. They have only expanded government jobs. Sure there are health care jobs–if you want to work for the government.
Like the infantile spectacles they put on, the behavior of this regime is also infantile in blaming others rather than butching up and accepting responsibility for the fall out associated with bad policies and bad bills.
We need to leave this regime! We need Liberty!

I came across a website (www. willisms.com) full of juicy statistics that visually illustrate the superiority of limited government, stable laws and low taxes. Here is the data comparing Texas and Illinois in terms of employment. Illinois is important because it represents the mindset of the Obama regime. Take a look-see and let the reality sink in.
On the page you will find data to show that increased government spending on public indoctrination (education) has not produced better results.
New home sales are down everywhere except…Texas
Texas is outpacing other states in job creation (even with the stimulus package for Detroit)
Five of the fastest growing States are in the Confederate South (Texas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and….South Carolina).
Unemployement rates in major cities. Guess who has the lowest?….Texas
The fact that sitting presidents always loose seats in Congress for their party.
Check out these and other numbers. You’ll be proud to be a Texan and from the South

One would assume that CONgress would learn from its mistakes. When they wanted to relax the rules on home lending so that it was more diverse, rather than focusing on who was credit worthy, they ended up with a real estate crash. Now they are considering doing the same thing to financial institutions on a LARGER scale. The latest financial regulation bill (crafted by two Yankees no less) uses the financial crisis as a smokescreen to implement quota based lending and hiring. This time it is not only the financial institutions, it also includes those who contract to do work for them.
They have taken a bad idea and made it worse, MUCH worse. They have expanded the failed policy that led to the housing bust and have applied it to all financial institutions. This means that rather than one segment of the economy failing due to bad laws/policies, they will bring the WHOLE financial system down in the name of diversity.
Such policies reward people based on their gender and ethnicity rather than their credit worthiness. If they wanted the financial sector to succeed, then the regulations would reward those who handle their money responsibly.
Prior the the occupation of Texas and the South, Each state policed its own banking. Each state had its own monies used within those States. The government only wanted to make sure that the banks were financially solid and maintain reasonable business practices. The new regulations are more about the continued “RECONSTRUCTION” of the empire than it is about improving the state of the financial institutions.

The BP/Gulf of Mexico disaster is a mess. The oil spill poses a major threat to all of the gulf coast Southern States. Regardless of what caused the blast, the response of the empire to the disaster threatens all the Southern States in terms of loss of liberty, threats to economic health and threats to our physical health.
Mac Slavo wrote a thought provoking post on the matter. There are also reports of respiratory problems being experienced by workers and those living along the coast. Some reports of methane gas exposure in some communities in Alabama are also being reported. There have even been rumors of plans for forced evacuations. This would mean that the empire is using the situation to strong arm many Southrons into other locations due to their ineptness in responding to and containing the spill. There is also talk of evacuations in Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana as well. I do not know if these are rumors or actual plans. As more information surfaces, I will pass on what I know.
Among the extremely odd things are the large military presence in the areas impacted, the loss of freedom of the press in reporting on the situation.
One observation I have made is how the empire puts on a show for visitors, yet scales back its efforts when they are not being watched. If this is so, it may be a symptom that the empire is going broke. General George Patton made similar observations on Nazi German supplies as they were experiencing gasoline shortages. It could be that the economic free wheeling is catching up to the empire and the South is paying for it.
The people of Texas and the South need your prayers regarding wisdom and how to deal with these challenges.

The ‘Republic of Texas’ is once again minting lawful coinage. The coins contain real silver, unlike the tokens that are presently used as coinage in the empire. These are worth purchasing for several reasons:
1. They are lawful coins (made with real silver)
2. They have the image of Texas as it was and should be
3. They will definitely be collector’s items
4. They help Texas and Texans
5. The Yankee dollar is worth less than the Confederate dollar was worth towards the end of the war. (Which ought to tell you something).
6. We need to withdraw our consent from the current financial system. This is a way of doing that.
For those of you who have not studies history, gold coins were originally minted for use as money. The silver coins were used for small debts, while gold coins were used for payment of larger debts and amounts.
The minting of these coins is a step in the right direction.

With the onerous monetary laws passed by the empire, a growing number of citizens (subjects) of the empire have not only considered but have actually renounced their citizenship. Presently, the empire is seeking to have foreign banks to do their snooping and work for them. In response to such actions, there are so many citizens wanting to renounce their citizenship, that there are waiting lists in London and Bern offices of the US Embassy. In London, one the soonest appointment is in 2012, while in Bern, it is June of next year.
Having to set up appointments in order to renounce citizenship (subject-hood) is more akin to being considered ‘property of the State’ as opposed to being a free man. It is synonymous with law based upon government allowed privilege rather than that of God-given rights exercised by a sovereign individual.

It seems that the empire is now bailing out the EU. This is after bailing out Wall Street and the auto industry. Let me remind you that a few years back, we bailed out Asian nations and even further back, we bailed out Mexico. Isn’t it about time we quit bailing out others and took care of our own?
I wonder how the empire continues finding the funds to do these things. Most of the nations that owe us money from World War I & II still owe us. They need to pay up!
I had a chuckle at the new items that Los Angeles is going to quit doing business with Arizona. I thought-so what? California is paying their people with IOU’s so what is it going to hurt if Arizona does not accept the Los Angeles IOU? It is all a paper tiger. What Arizona does is its business. Rather than meddling with others, the empire needs to do its job of protecting the borders rather than meddling in Spain and Israel’s business.
The feds need to get out of Arizona and out of the South.

Does your home have its license? Much as you have to license you car, motorcycle or RV, now you will have to license your home if CONgress gets its way.
Nestled away in the energy bill was the requirement for homeowners to obtain licenses (approval) prior to selling their home. If your home does not meet the energy requirements, so sad, too bad, no can sell. With most Texans, their home is the largest source of their wealth. Encumbering it with the requirement for a license is an excessive burden.
Here is a list of the Texas CONgress critters who voted for this cursed bill:
Aye TX-9 Al Green
Aye TX-15 Ruben Hinojosa
Aye TX-16 Silvestre Reyes
Aye TX-18 Shiela Jackson-Lee
Aye TX-20 Charlie Gonzalez
Aye TX-25 Lloyd Doggett
Aye TX-28 Henry Cuellar
Aye TX-29 Raymond Green
Aye TX-30 Eddie Bernice Johnson
This is one vote that Gene Green and Ciro Rodriguez had the courage to say NO. So if you who live in Houston, Dallas or Austin and you want to know why you can not sell your home in addition to wondering why you have to buy all new appliances and pay exorbitant fees-Look to these CONgressional Representatives. THEY are costing you! They are the ones who want you to have to license your home. Think about that come November. I don’t know what they have done to help you, but they sure have done a lot to make it more difficult to sell your home.
Remember that before the war, a man’s home was his castle. There was no income tax, and there were no property taxes. The home was considered untaxable. My, we have come a long way since then.

In another blaring example of how government is the problem and not the solution, the ‘loan modification program’ began by the government is seeing a rise in defaults. Bear in mind that ‘bad loans are bad loans’. When the fedgov demanded that banks begin making loans to people who were not credit worthy, they eventually defaulted (Remember that it was a democratic program that forced the banks to provide such un-creditworthy loans in the first place). Then the government wanted to ‘fix’ their problem with required loan modification programs, which are also failing.
Granted, these people need homes. They need a place to live. The problem of residence is very real. The problem is the solution. Looking to the government for solutions only creates more problems. The empire can’t even keep their financial house in order. How can they expect their minion dependents to do so. For the history books, NO Democratic controlled Congress has ever met their budget in the past 40 years. So we are talking a longstanding pattern of mismanagement. (Not that the Republicans, whether in name only or otherwise are much better).
What I want you to take away from this is that :Government is not the solution-Government IS the problem.
-Just wait until you see how government ‘fixed’ health care.
-Just wait until you see how government ‘fixes’ the environment
-Just look at how ‘government’ has fixed the Middle East (you may have to check on this one daily, since the body count continues climbing as the fedgov continues ‘fixing’ it)
-Just look at how ‘government’ has fixed our borders
A Southern government would not be perfect, although a government that is more responsive to the people, (unlike the arrogant bunch that is now in office). A government in Austin will be more likely to hear us than one that is hundreds of miles away. States that can tell the central government “No Way” is better than a central government that steamrolls over the needs and concerns of the States.

In the latest assault on liberty and venture into wackiness, the regime has taken the position that unpaid college internships are illegal. The administration is taking the position that companies using interns are operating illegally if they are not paid, UNLESS it is a government internship.
This means that young people will no longer be able to volunteer their services in exchange for valuable workplace skills while they are students. The old system of apprenticeship is now passe. This action is an assault on liberty in that if the person wants to volunteer, they should be allowed to. Whatever happened to the spirit of volunteerism touted by this regime? It seems that you can volunteer ONLY for the empire.
Is this an attack on college students volunteering for political campaigns? You bet it is! Is this a way to keep conservative oriented youth from gaining important skills? Yes!
It also means that any student going into health care related fields are directed into government-related programs. In this way, the regime begins training and preparing them for loyalty to its worldview and agenda.
Is this wacky? Yes! College students have a right to decide how they use their time and where they use it. It is absurd for the regime to believe they OWN the students and their time. Such a mindset is more akin to plantation mindsets, where all property is owned by the man in the big house. That practice was eliminated everywhere except in Washington DC, where it continues unabated.
