Sovereign Debt

Have you ever considered that it would be cheaper for Texas to assume the sovereign debt from the days of the Confederation than to continue with the mountain of debt foisted on us by tax and spend Congressmen? Have you ever considered that your money now goes to pay off Egypt and Israel with the Dayton Peace Accord? President Carter called it a “Peace Accord”, when in reality, the two nations were bought off by the US and paid not to fight any more. We can not afford such foreign policy. Buying off other nations with our taxes is not wise. It is not ‘true’ peace. You are also paying for abortions, bailing out financially irresponsible banks, and paying for numerous vacations being taken by people who hate you and want to control every aspect of your life they can.

Sovereign debt is important. The loans that the government takes out in your name means that you are on the hook for the note. The empire knows how important sovereign debt is. That is one reason why they forced the Southern States to repudiate their debt soon after they occupied the South. Bear in mind that in law, any action that was coerced is of questionable validity. The Southern States could force secession by repudiating the United States debt and resuming the debts of the Confederate government. This may sound outrageous, but how many of you have repudiated the debts of a wife or husband as part of a divorce? This is taking repudiation to a larger scale.

The assumption of the Confederate debt would automatically give us a credit rating and a debt that we could pay off easier than we could the current US debt. I wonder how many of the current US spending policies and debt obligations did you actually approve of? How many did you have any say in? How many did Congress have any say about?

There is also the joy of knowing that the O-regime would have to answer to China for all the debt they have to pay when the most prosperous region leaves them.

Think about it.

Are the Feds discriminating against your State?

The irony of the federal government who reportedly champions against discrimination using that very action as a threat against States (including Texas, Virginia and Alaska) is typical. Education Secretary, Arne Duncan has made it clear that those who do not like and support the empire’s education policies will be discriminated against when it comes to financial support. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. This is a high point in hypocrisy! The empire issues the dictates (this time in the form of ‘Common Care’), and the States are supposed to dance to their tune and not object. It tells the States that they will not only implement the empire’s policies, they will also like them as well.

To add further hypocrisy, Arne Duncan stated, “The idea that the Common Core standards are nationally-imposed is a conspiracy theory in search of a conspiracy,”. In looking at his statement, the standards are nationally imposed. States are forced to accept them and not fight against them. Resistance will be punished through reduced funding. That sounds like a conspiracy to me, but I am not a member of the ruling regime nor do I drink the same kool-aide that they partake in.

For those who are not informed, the Common Care Standards are being pushed by Bill Gates-funded foundations. The standards seek to have a uniform national standard rather than each state having its own standards. What this amounts to is that control of school curriculum will be at the national level rather than at the local school district or even State level. The ‘progressive’ minded who seek national standards are already up to their dirty tricks in demonizing those who speak out against the ‘national’ standards. This amounts to just another form of states rights being stripped away based on how the pointy headed progressives believe they know better than you do, your local district or even your State what your children need to learn.

Instead of national standards, which have NEVER worked, we need local and State level initiatives that focus on teaching children how to think. We need local people deciding what is best for their schools rather than some committee in Washington dictating what will be presented to the children. We need excellence in education rather than homogenization of instruction. With all the money going to local schools, they need the ability to decide what is important rather than some appointed bureaucrat. Having more bureaucracy is not the answer. Having national standards and more national control is NOT the answer. Instead, that is the problem. Common Cause gives us more of the problem rather than more answers or real improvements.

Common Cause is merely using financial thuggery to force compliance. Not only is it forcing compliance, it is a form of blackmail and openly admitted discrimination. This regime is one of the most discriminative regimes that has taken office. Instead of real solutions, cooperation or using statesmanship, it continues using threat and power to force its agenda.

The empire’s solution to tax havens? A Global minimum tax

You can always count on the O-regime to get things wrong. In this case, when the question of how to deal with tax shelters and tax havens, the answer from the White House Economic Adviser, Gene Sperling was “we need a global minimum tax so that people have the assurance that nobody is escaping doing their fair share as part of a race to the bottom or having our tax code actually subsidized and facilitate people moving their funds to tax havens,”.

It never occurs to people that America was founded by people wanting to avoid taxes. John Hancock was a smuggler who operated his business to avoid British taxes. It never occurred to them (the present regime) that the taxing of income is not what the founding fathers envisioned. This is not surprising since they do not study history outside of socialist political history. Instead of lowering taxes, or reducing spending or heaven forbid, looking at whether or not the spending is necessary or moral, their answer to everything is “raise more taxes!” This time, they are advocating a global tax. The use of terms like ‘fair’ and ‘minimum’ are only a smoke screen to hide the insidiousness of what they are advocating. Those terms make it look like it is fair, which they are not. Such a plan would only increase the power of the UN. It would not help our security or bring more money into US coffers. The regime does not understand that people do not mind paying taxes when they are low enough and for moral purposes. Bear in mind that the empire supported itself with duties without any need for income taxes up until 145 years ago under Lincoln.

Instead of Global Taxes and increasing UN power as a solution to problems, we need more liberty.

Whatever happened to market freedoms?

The empire meddles in the policy of States as we have seen with immigration policy with Alabama and EPA regulations with Texas. Now the CONgress is taking the step of telling advertisers where they can advertise. After Lowe’s responded to consumer complaints and removed its support for “American Muslim”, there has been outrage in leftist circles. A group of 29 CONgress critters are now calling on Lowe’s to re-instate their ads on the show. The hubris of their demand is stunning. They want to tell a company where they advertise. Imagine if they told you where you can and can not advertise.

This is straight up fascism. The government is trying to tell business where they can and can not put their advertising dollars. This amounts to the empire showing favoritism toward one group over other groups. Talk about violation of civil rights. These 32 CONgress critters are intentionally interfering in free trade, which is in violation of the Constitution, but … do you think they care or bother to follow the rules?

Here is a partial list of the fascist CONgress critters who want to interfere with your market freedoms.

Hansen Clarke (D-Detroit),
Gary Peters (D-Bloomfield Twp.)
John Dingell (D-Dearborn)
Chris Murphy (D-CT.)
Keith Ellison (D-MI)
Mike Honda (D-CA)
Bill Pascarell (D-NJ)
Andre Carson (D-)

The irony is that Kayak.com also pulled its ads, yet few are protesting or speaking out about their actions, since they are small fish compared to Lowe’s. The whole thing smells more of a shake down than a legitimate protest. Kayak stated its reason as being “the show just sucked”. That is pretty plain and simple.

We need liberty, rather than meddling. We need liberty for people and businesses to advertise where they please and conduct business without government meddling.

Savior of the deadbeats

The head of the “0″ regime has rolled out his plan to provide student stimulus (via student loans). In reality, it amounts to 1) payoffs to liberal college professors that support his socialist ideas and 2) letting deadbeats off the hook (at the expense of the taxpayers). It is no surprise that after the empire took over the student loan area, that they are exploiting it. In this case, they are using it for leverage, in the sense of giving money to the students and leaving taxpayers with the bill. The regime is catering to deadbeats, whether it be in the form of housing, loans, or stimulus. When you subsidize irresponsibility, you get MORE irresponsibility. It does not increase productivity. It does not improve the GDP, it does not pay off the tremendous debt that this regime has incurred, it creates deadbeat dependency.

This usurper has done his best to foster more dependency on the government and centralized control of the government than his predecessors. This latest is just more payoffs to his socialist supporters, deadbeats looking for the latest handout and abuse of governmental power. He is effectively buying the student vote for the 2012 election by making YOU foot the bill (just like a lawyer).

Instead of subsidizing irresponsibility, we need more responsibility. We need people who operate within Constitutional limits, rather than break them.

League Press Release on Occupy Wall Street

Our take on The Occupy Wall Street movement
LS News Service

17 October 2011

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The League of the South, the primary Southern nationalist organization, has watched the Occupy Wall Street movement for a month now with some interest. We have even been asked to participate in some of the protests in cities across the South.

However, we have politely declined. And here’s why, according to League President Michael Hill: “Though we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Wall Street banksters are crooks, we have no interest in either occupying Wall Street or reforming it. Simply put, we want to leave it behind, along with every other corrupt institution of the American empire, and work to create a free and independent Southern republic. That is our solution. We encourage the Southern people to embrace it.”

For more information, call the League at (800) 888-3163 or contact us via email.

Federal Reserve becomes Big Brother

The Federal Reserve plans on monitoring facebook, twitter and google. They claim it is to monitor the public perception of the economy. Apparently this private corporation does not want enough people in the public to find out what a scam is actually occurring with the Fed. It was bad enough that after the war, the empire forced us to use greenbacks. Now under our noses, the gold standard and silver certificates were taken away. In place of money that could be exchanged for ‘real’ money, we have ‘Federal Reserve Notes’. Just look at your paper, it does not say, United States Treasury Note, instead it is a Federal Reserve Note. That ought to tell you something. Although the Constitution said only the US government could make money, they have farmed out the operation to a private company, known as the Federal Reserve. Recall that Herman Cain has close connections with this “Federal Reserve”, which is not a friend of liberty or ‘real money’.

It was bad enough that we had to kiss the Yankee boots, now they want us to kiss the boots of the Federal Reserve and not question or discuss matters. Like the emperor’s new clothes, there is deception going on, which they do not want the people to know about. It used to be a joke, when they said ‘Save Your Confederate Money Boys, The South will rise again!” Despite the inflation during the closing days of the war, the Confederate dollar could purchase more than your federal reserve notes do.

We need real money. We need liberty.

Are flea markets and garage sales a thing of the past in Louisiana?

I was surprised to see an article noting that the Louisiana legislature has passed a law forbidding the sale of second hand merchandise for cash. Think through this for a moment. The Yankees first force the use of their greenbacks on us and now the legislature of Louisiana has taken the stand that those greenbacks can no longer be used. It seems that cash is no longer king in Louisiana. If this is totally true then legal tender is no longer legal tender. The legislature has limited what you can use legal tender for in Louisiana in their attempts at tracking transactions.

This is a sign of a government loosing control and recognizing that it’s money is not as good as they claim it is. Although the legislators probably instituted it as a control mechanism, the effect is a “no-confidence” vote on the Yankee dollar

We need liberty for Texas and a solid currency.

We are not better off than four years ago

The head of the O-regime publicly declared that the American people are not better off now than they were four years ago. (Way to go Captain Obvious!). He recognizes that he has brought “change”. When a liberal talks change, this is what he means, more government control, more taxes, more nanny state, more regulations over key industries and a lot fewer freedoms for the people. So, with this in mind, is his regime a success? He has managed to wreck many areas of the economy and mess up international relations. He has also permanently crippled the military with his policy changes.

Southrons, how many more of you will need to loose your jobs before you wake up. How many more will need to have your children brainwashed at the government schools in values that are alien to your own. How many more of you will need to loose your investments and health before you realize that we need a return to being a Southern Nation once again?

This regime has idealized the tyrant Lincoln since day one. It is no surprise to Southrons that the policies the regime wanted are the results such a mindset. Now the regime wants bill collectors to have even easier access to you and your family for your part of the federal debt.

Even though I told my Congress critter I did not want it, they gave it to me. They need to send the tax collector to Lloyd Doggett’s house and bug him for any debt from his constituents that did not want the added spending.

Yes, we are worse off, we have more taxes, fewer liberties, reduced freedoms and the regime wants us to be happy about it.

We need real answers to such policies. We need a Southern nation.

The debt crisis circus

The rhetoric regarding the debt crisis has been entertaining and enlightening. Enlightening in that it exposes the poor logic and emotion-driven policy that the liberals have been driven by. Senator Lisa Murkowski blames the tea party for the debt crisis. Being that they did not create the debt, it is hard to blame them for that. Those in the tea party are holding the line. Spending a BILLION or even TRILLION (which is 1,000 BILLION) is not a little matter. Questions should be raised at spending that kind of money. The tea party has exposed the”Let’s spend other people’s money” mindset of many on Capitol hill.

The debt crisis rhetoric also provides some wonderful Bible lessons in how evil is called good and good evil. Nancy Pelosi, who crammed the health care bill through on her watch is making accusations about how Boehner has gone to the dark side, and equating him with evil. I wonder is he evil due to him wanting to reduce spending or because he is willing to work with the democrats on anything?

Those questioning the debt have been likened to suicide bombers and the Taliban, when the reality is just the opposite. The ruling regime has shown lax tolerance in their handling of the Ft. Hood attack, they support and finance Hamas and other suicide bombing organizations, they support al-Quidah groups in Libya, they support the radical Muslim Brotherhood (which is nothing more than an institutionalized HATE group) and other pro-violence and Christian hating regimes. The rhetoric is a classic case of creating a smoke screen to hide what is really going on. They use speeches to attack the tea partiers for intolerance, yet the regime will use the money to support groups that are violent, oppressive and barbaric.

The double standard shows instability in their thinking and policy. The recklessness the democrats show in their profligate spending and oppressive, liberty restricting policies show their true colors. I also realize that they could not have enacted many of those policies such as the light bulbs, messing with the food supply, messing with health care, supporting oppressive regimes, etc. without republicans allowing them to do it. Many terrible polices and laws came into being under the Bush regimes as well. Instead of oppression from the right or the left, we need liberty. We need a return to traditional values, we need a return to common sense and common law. We need representatives who believe in fiscal responsibility rather than fiscal profligacy.
