Jack Johnson Redux

After the famous Jack Johnson fight, where he defeated his challenger, who was white, there were great racial tensions throughout the South, including Texas. The press often incited racial tensions by using slanted coverage of the fight and the trash talk that often occurs with such events. Although Jack Johnson lived before our time, the same inflaming of racial tension is currently underway with the Texas Voter ID law. The democrats have been given their talking points, which include claiming that there is no voter fraud, that many people do not have ID’s, that requiring ID’s to vote is unnecessary, etc. It is almost humorous to discuss this issue with a democrat, since their response will be one of the talking points they have been instructed to give by groups such as MoveOn.org.

The rhetoric has been further escalated by Eric Holder referring to the Voter ID as a ‘poll tax’. Even Governor Perry has caught on to this scam. The regime refuses calling the Obamacare tax a tax, yet will turn around and refer to the Voter ID bill in Texas as a ‘tax’. If this sounds duplicitous, it is because it is. Eric Holder’s remarks are designed to inflame people in Texas. The inflaming of people will muddle the waters around the election, thereby throwing things into the courts. This is part of the scheme that the democrats have. Since they can not win fairly or in the arena of public opinion, they use the courts to force their policies on people. Eric Holder is using strategies used by yellow journalists in the Jack Johnson era. Hopefully Texas will remember its history and not fall for this manipulation.

Liberty for Texas!
