The Arizona Decision

With the ruling of the Supreme Court, the 0-regime is showing its disdain for the ruling by refusing to help Arizona law enforcement secure and protect the border. As I thought about this situation, I wondered, “What would Texas do?”. I was reminded that there have been times that the Federal government refused to help Texas secure its border. What did Texas do? They protected it themselves. It was often the Texas Rangers, although in some cases, it was the local militia that protected the streets of South Texas from criminal immigrants flowing across the border. Recall that Texas protected its border before the feds did. The border patrol has not even been in existence as long as Texas has been protecting its own border. Perhaps we need to blow the dust off of those old proven solutions since the feds want to take from us, but not do their primary job of keeping us safe. They care more about going to the Olympics, congratulating Mohammedean dictators, and bailing out Europe. Instead of meddling in the affairs of other nations, how about taking care of our own?

I am reminded of the Vergara Incident. This is the episode that occurred when Governor Oscar Colquitt asked the federal government for help with lawlessness on the border. He was told to handle it himself. He did. He called out the militia and Texas Rangers. In a short period of time, the border was secured and safe. The lawless element, which in that case was the Mexican Army was handled as well. It was only after Colquitt ‘handled matters’ that President Wilson reacted furiously at how the Texas Governor took care of things. It seems that the fed gov is only happy when you are dependent on them and their politically correct policies, rather than fixin’ the situation yourself.

Instead of more Washington politics of ‘America=Saving the world’, we need a nation that protects itself. It is pure hypocrisy for the head of the regime to write “We Remember…We rebuild We come back stronger!” on the girder of the new tower in New York at the World Trade Center, when he will not protect the border. We need more men like Governor Oscar Colquitt rather than the political class that occupies Washington now.
