New Flu concerns:Duke Death Cluster

In sorting through the news of the day, there is a story about how researchers have developed a ‘new flu’ virus by combining old flu viruses. The new one is called the Duke Death Cluster. The creation of such viruses also occurred in Australia. Now that it has been invented, it will not take long before it is released. Accompanying the release will likely be the usual dog and pony show regarding vaccinations and immunization. This is like something out of the Mission Impossible movie where Ballerephon was created so that the drug companies could make money on its treatment. Another case of life imitating fiction.

I mention this in the blog, since the empire often uses such tools to force its programs on us and make the case why we need the empire in the first place. Once it is released, then they can say you need us to protect you. It was not bad enough that they harvested the Spanish Flu, but now they have found ways of improving it (i.e. making it more deadly).

The pattern of disease, then panic, then government programs is not new by any means.
This is not the first time mass illnesses have hit the empire. Recall that the Easter Plague (aka Asiatic Cholera) of 1832 spread panic throughout the nation. When it ran its course, it was mainly in the Yankee states and New York where the infections were worse. The Southern States and those along the Mississippi fared well. The government could save them then, and it is not the government’s job to save us. The best thing is for government to leave us alone. Leave diseases alone, leave plagues alone, and leave health care alone.

Liberty for Texas and the South!
