		<description>Whilst it is true that the government had a part in the decline of Detroit, the major contribution to the wreck can be put squarely on the shoulder of its citizens. There are dozens of towns in the US where the principal employer left, the towns went through some hard times, pulled up their socks, survived and prospered. To get the answer, one should look at the citizens remaining and see if there is any common denominator that might have resulted in the failure.</description>
