As of midnight last night, the United Kingdom ceased to exist as a sovereign nation. England finally succumbed to its own medicine of gobbling up other people and removing their soverignty.  Now England is nothing more than another State in the European Union as the Lisbon Treaty begins taking effect. I am sure the Boudica would be weeping over her people (not to mention Francis Drake, Richard the Lionhearted, and others). The people that stood up against Rome has now been gobbled up in a supra-national entity. It would do well for the subjects of the empire to take note of this action. Many times trends which begin in England as a trial find themselves implemented in the empire. Much like Esau selling out his birthright, England has sold hers out as well. Esau’s sellout did not settle anything as evidenced by continued Middle Eastern conflict, likewise, Britannia’s sellout will do little to settle problems either.

Consider that the centralized control in England has focused on watching, monitoring and controlling its people for some time. Despite all the controls (and outrageous taxes), they can not police their nation and prevent horrors like select groups purposely poisoning and tampering with the food served to other groups.  This is in addition to the kidnapping of young girl (Charlene Downes), forcing her into a child sex ring and then later making human kebabs out of her and serving it to the public. Despite all the monitoring, the government has not been able to tame the monsters in their land.

These are horrid acts. Texas and the South do not need such horrors that unrestrained immigration bring along with the tyranny associated with police states and forced removal of sovereignty. (How is it when humans are forced into a union that they are not wanting to be a part of it is called rape and considered a crime. When governments do the same things it is called statesmanship and considered legal?)

We in the South know first hand what comes of being forced into a Union against our will and the horrors it brings with it.
