Basic Economics for the Chinese

Chinese government officials are questioning the figurehead of the Obama regime on the cost of health care legislation. It seems that they are concerned about the cost (along with cost overuns of the proposed legislation. Although they are not experts in economics, there are some basics that they should be aware of.

1. Anything receiving government subsidies will rise in price/cost.

2. There is a cost not reported in the official government reports. That cost is what it will cost the health care providers and their offices to comply with the proposed takeover of the health care program.

3. American medicine is focused on illness, not wellness. This has a bearing on the quality of health that the American workforce has. Without good quality health care, the ability of the work force to pay for the profligate spending of the democrats is in danger.

4. The Chinese should know that giving the US more money is a mistake. Much like health care reform takeover, the more you feed it, the bigger it grows. Rather than the US asking for less monies, they have wanted more and will continue to want more, MORE, MORE. The massive amount of debt will likely collapse both economies.

5. Health care is not a right. It is not something that is required for government to provide. Health care can be delivered better in a free market economy.

6. The government takeover of the medical schools and forced implementation of affirmative action programs will only serve to dilute the quality of health care delivery. Rather than wanting the best for medical schools, the regime wants the delivery force to look the same.

7. The regime lies. They lied to the American people. They lied to their allies. What makes you think they will not lie to you?

Instead of believing the propaganda in the main stream media, we need truth, we need to think about what we read. We need to connect the dots.

The South is a region whose people stress self-reliance. They do not trust the government, and with good reason. The answer to health care is in reducing government interference, not increasing it. More competition is needed rather than less. The government needs to get out of the medical schools and hospitals.

Liberty for Texas and the South!
