Although much has been made of the head of the regime bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia and other faux pas. The latest is of greater significance, since it deals with the spiritual realm. The head of the regime bowed to a foreign idol. Being that the Emperor of Japan was previously viewed as a god, the bowing of Obama represents the worship of idols. This is beyond showing respect—It is worship. Bear in mind that the Japanese navy still maintain idols on their ships that the men pray to. The Japanese culture take their idols and worship seriously. They knew the significance of the gesture. It was a slap to Christendom, it was a slap to Veterans of World War II, and it was tantamount to surrender of his dignity. Make no mistake, such gesturing sends a signal
Perhaps he is used to idol worship with his previous religious upbringing or perhaps with his carrying the monkey god that was prayed to concerning the balloting prior to his assuming office.
The spiritual significance of this act is worth noting. The head of the previous regime also bowed in a Shinto temple. Recall that bowing is an act of worship. If you have studied your Bible, you know the significance of when rulers serve foreign gods and worship idols. Rather than listen to the rhetoric of the head of the regime with his disdain for the God of the Bible and his word, look at his actions. History has shown that leaders who reject God’s word and instead worship idols do not fare well. It is concerning that the head of the regime has not heeded those examples.
We do not need idol worshiping politicians. We need liberty from such types. Their actions often bring baggage with them. He has made it clear that he is willing to accommodate many gods, as long as it is NOT the God of the Bible. The phrase “Thou shalt have NO other gods before me” somehow fell on deaf ears with him.
We need leaders who are not ashamed or apologetic of the Christian values and culture. We need leaders who are not afraid to speak the truth.
