If you can believe the administration and their numbers, there have been 19,572 jobs created or saved in Texas due to the stimulus. Although the Republican figures disagree with this, let us examine it further. For the $10,700,000,000 spent in Texas (that is 10.7 BILLION), there have been 19,572 jobs. That amounts to $546,699 per job. Did you land one of those $546,699 a year jobs? I doubt it. So if you can believe what they tell us, there should be some happy people.
Although the 19,572 job figure is the one touted by the regime, other news reports that Texas lost 44,700 jobs according to the Texas Workforce Commission. It is important not to confuse the regime with facts. Who are you going to believe, the regime or the Texas Workforce Commission? So if you combine the two figures (each of which is from a government source), the status is -25,126. Texas has lost 25,126 jobs since the stimulus has gone into effect. That is $10,700,000,000 spent on loosing 25,126 jobs. If you have lost your job, thank your CONgress critter. Gene Green, Lloyd Doggett, Shiela Jackson Lee, Chet Edwards, Eddie Bernice Johnson, Al Green, or Ciro Rodriguez (mind you this is only a partial list of the co-conspirators). Call their office and ask about your job. Ask where the $10.7 BILLION went and how many jobs were actually saved or created (the saved or created term is the regimes way of weaseling around the situation). Remember, the election is coming up in 52 weeks.
Consider the math: Texas has over 23 million people. The stimulus should amount to $465 to each Texan, man woman and child. If you look at the 254 counties in Texas, it should amount to $42 million going to each county in the state. For all that money, what do we have to show? For each county there are 77 jobs saved or created. Does that sound like a stimulus to you? According to the head of the regime, “The economy is heading in the right direction“.
Do we need more of this?
It is no wonder our kids have trouble with math when the regime can’t do the math themselves. Texas has a NET LOSS of jobs with all the money spent. They can not do simple addition and subtraction. Heaven forbid if they ever figure out how to do multiplication and division to figure out how much money has been taken from Texas taxpayers and how little back they are getting.
