Redefining Patriotism

The SPLC has released another report warning against right-wing terrorists. (Yawn!). The SPLC often issues reports and announcements designed to provoke. The latest report came out in August. This time they sent the report to police departments. In the past they sent them to news outlets. The sad thing is that many so-called journalists took what the SPLC said as fact and reported it that way. The shoddy journalism gave the SPLC credibility which it did not deserve. The SPLC depends largely on donations, so it is in their best interest to keep some excitement in their reports. The more controversy=the more donations.

What is noteworthy about the “newest” is that the SPLC has expanded its laundry list of positions that earn one the title of ‘domestic terrorist’ or of a ‘hate group’.

  • Oppose abortion
  • Are returning veterans
  • Oppose same-sex marriage
  • Oppose restrictions on firearms
  • Oppose lax immigration laws
  • Oppose the policies of President Obama regarding immigration, citizenship, and the expansion of social programs
  • Oppose continuation of free trade agreements
  • Are suspect of foreign regimes
  • Fear Communist regimes
  • Oppose a “one world” government
  • Bemoan the decline of U.S. stature in the world
  • Are upset with loss of U.S. manufacturing jobs to China and India, and more

Given the items they include, every Southern and Christian organization that stands for the ideals that America was founded on should be included. The laundry list indicates that any one who wants to take a stand on moral issues or wants to protect family values, save American jobs, oppose oppressive government and retain soverignty.  If your church holds a prayer vigil concerning the moral state of your community-according to these standards, you are either a domestic terrorist or a hate group.

It remains to be seen if the law enforcement community will recognize the SPLC for what they are and whether they will fall for shoddy journalism.

In the latest SPLC hate group map, the League of the South remains prominent. As the wicked continue to call evil “good” and good “evil” like the SPLC does, will your church or groups take a strong enough stand to ‘make the list’?

In essense, the SPLC is redefining patriotism. The new definition is more akin to being a sheep and welcoming global wickedness in all its forms. If you welcome job loss, moral depravity, trust foreign dictators and the media-you are a NEW PATRIOT. If you do not, you are a right-wing domestic terrorist.

The writing is on the wall

If you keep up with the news you will have seen some indications lately concerning the precarious situation the economy is in. There are two items worth noting. #1-An official with the federal reserve admitted that the organization ‘hides’ transactions dealing with gold. I had long suspected that someone or some group was manipulating the gold market and now it is becoming clearer as to who it was. #2-HSBC is wanting to say good-bye to dollar supremacy/The G20 is pushing for a global currency. What this means is that HSBC and the heads of those nations do not have faith in the dollar or Obama’s leadership. Although they do not trust him, the regime wants you to.

With news such as this, it is clear that the economy is in TROUBLE. It has been manipulated. Since it has been manipulated, you will not know how bad it truly is. The regime has massively increased the debt, creating a false bond of us with the rest of the nation.

We need independence. Every day we need it more. Massive government has been the source of the problems and not the solution. The financial mess is clear evidence of the failure of central control and statism.

In a free Texas, we would have local self-control. We would have an economy without central bankers controlling and manipulating it.

You are not acting in the way you should

According to Energy Secretary Steven Chu, many of us are misbehaving. We are acting like teens by not acting the way the administration believes we should. His exact quote is…

The American public…just like your teenage kids, aren’t acting in a way that they should act. The American public has to really understand in their core how important this issue is. ”

This is coming from the man who has recommended that we paint our roofs white and have high gas prices so that we drive less. In terms of science, Chu is lost. He has been a strong critic of fossil fuels and buys into the myth that they are bad. The idea of global warming is a myth that has more in common with religious beliefs than with science. Chu is a firm believer in this myth. How a physicist who works with lasers, which require a huge amount of energy is qualified to know the economics of gasoline use or energy efficiency in homes is beyond me.

Chu’s research focuses on dealing with activity on the single molecule level. He won the Nobel prize for capturing atoms with laser beams. He may know how to accomplish that, where he has complete control in a lab,  but it is clear that it does not qualify him to make energy policy on a national level or how to raise children.

In his latest, he now is pushing the “smart grid”, which gives government control to energy use. Along with that control, he wants to RAISE the price of energy, in order to decrease its use.  Part of maintaining freedom will be access to energy WITHOUT government interference or restrictions. In a classic case of double speak, he wants to ‘lower the cost of electricity to the consumer by raising the fees”.  Any Southron who has a lick of sense can see through that one. A person does not save money by spending more for electricity. If he really wanted to lower cost, remove government controls on it. Allow energy to flow freely. Allow the free market to control costs, rather than artificial government interventions.

Chu’s ideas are another example of flawed science being touted by this regime. They have lied about health care, immigration, taxes, so now they lie to us about science.  It is clear that this regime has a truth impairment. They want to advance a political agenda even if it means lying about science and facts along the way.

It is also troubling that the regime has a ‘paternalistic’ mentality where they believe they know best. They are the ones to serve us, not us serve them. Given the mindset of viewing us as misbehavin’ teens, it follows that they will attempt using heavy handed tactics to ‘force us’ to behave in the way they want. Chu is used to controlling things in his laboratory. In the ‘real world’ people do not behave like atoms in a controlled environment, especially in the South.

The answer to this one, like most policies of this regime is to reduce government interference. We do NOT need smart grids, we do not need government regulations on energy, we do not need a centrally controlled energy policy. We need LESS government. We need less government regulations in this area. We need more free market solutions where private businesses find workable solutions based on ‘real’ science and not just theories based on religious beliefs.

The Climate Change Myth Speech

In a recent speech, the Usurper addressed Climate Change. I have included his speech along with editorial comments to point out his misdirection.

————————

No nation, however large or small, wealthy or poor, can escape the impact of climate change. (False! Climate change is a myth perpetrated by a small group of scientists. There is no reputable science supporting the claim. Even in the worst case scenario, we are talking one degree in 100 year increase) Rising sea levels threaten every coastline. (False! The north pole was free of ice in 1959 and there was no rising water levels.) More powerful storms and floods threaten every continent. More frequent droughts and crop failures breed hunger and conflict in places where hunger and conflict already thrive. (Many of these crop failures are due to poor policies on the part of politicians rather than climate myths).  On shrinking islands, families are already being forced to flee their homes as climate refugees. The security and stability of each nation and all peoples — our prosperity, our health, and our safety — are in jeopardy. And the time we have to reverse this tide is running out.

And yet, we can reverse it. John F. Kennedy once observed that “Our problems are man-made, therefore they may be solved by man.”  (Bad metaphor. The problem is NOT man-made. Increasing evidence is that sunspots and not man’s activities are the reason for the recent weather changes. Even these are cyclical and not man made). It is true (whenever he uses TRUE, you better beware…) that for too many years, mankind has been slow to respond or even recognize the magnitude of the climate threat (That is because the threat is based on a myth. Just look at how the folks in the 70’s were talking global cooling and even suggested melting the ice caps). It is true of my own country (which country is that? Kenya, Indonesia or the empire?), as well. We recognize that. But this is a new day. It is a new era. And I am proud to say that the United States has done more to promote clean energy and reduce carbon pollution in the last eight months than at any other time in our history…

We’ve proposed the very first national policy aimed at both increasing fuel economy and reducing greenhouse gas pollution for all new cars and trucks — a standard that will also save consumers money (Lie! The policies approved will increase taxes and expenses) and our nation oil. We’re moving forward with our nation’s first offshore wind energy projects (Is that why Brazil is allowed to drill offshore and American oil companies can not? Bear in mind that it is the Kennedy Clan that is fighting the wind generators in Mass. ). We’re investing billions to capture carbon pollution so that we can clean up our coal plants. And just this week, we announced that for the first time ever, we’ll begin tracking how much greenhouse gas pollution is being emitted throughout the country…(The big question is what is a greenhouse gas? The second being, are they harmful?)

But though many of our nations have taken bold action and share in this determination, we did not come here to celebrate progress today (Wow! A true statement for once). We came because there’s so much more progress to be made. We came because there’s so much more work to be done.

It is work that will not be easy. As we head towards Copenhagen, there should be no illusions that the hardest part of our journey is in front of us. We seek sweeping but necessary change in the midst of a global recession, where every nation’s most immediate priority is reviving their economy and putting their people back to work (Is he trying to change topics? It sounds like he is making the economy concern #1 rather than climate change). And so all of us will face doubts and difficulties in our own capitals as we try to reach a lasting solution to the climate challenge…

We also cannot allow the old divisions that have characterized the climate debate for so many years to block our progress (What old divisions?). Yes, the developed nations that caused much of the damage to our climate over the last century still have a responsibility to lead — and that includes the United States (He is blaming us for the climate problems. Do you hear that? Even though China and other nations are spewing more pollution and toxic wastes out, he blames the United States) . And we will continue to do so (We will continue to do what? Take the lead in damaging the environment or take the lead in responsibility? His sentence structure makes it unclear) — by investing in renewable energy and promoting greater efficiency and slashing our emissions to reach the targets we set for 2020 and our long-term goal for 2050.

But those rapidly growing developing nations that will produce nearly all the growth in global carbon emissions in the decades ahead must do their part, as well. Some of these nations have already made great strides with the development and deployment of clean energy. Still, they need to commit to strong measures at home and agree to stand behind those commitments just as the developed nations must stand behind their own. We cannot meet this challenge unless all the largest emitters of greenhouse gas pollution act together. (He still has not defined what greenhouse gas pollution is. That is a problem if one is trying to reduce it) There’s no other way…

But the journey is long and the journey is hard. And we don’t have much time left to make that journey. It’s a journey that will require each of us to persevere through setbacks, and fight for every inch of progress, even when it comes in fits and starts. So let us begin. For if we are flexible and pragmatic, if we can resolve to work tirelessly in common effort, then we will achieve our common purpose: a world that is safer, cleaner, and healthier than the one we found; and a future that is worthy of our children (Now he cares about the children? He says this after supporting abortion and saddling those who survive birth the debt that no other generation has had to endure?).

—————–

His speech had many misrepresentations and falsehoods on the issue. He is attempting to scare the people into making decisions based on junk science. This is bad leadership.

We need a free South that does not fall prey to junk science and it prophets of doom and gloom.

Remembering Sharpsburg

The 17th of September 1862 was the bloodiest single day in American history. On that day, the battle of Sharpsburg was fought in Maryland. Even though the duly elected officials in Maryland wanted out of the Union, the Yankees incarcerated them. They incarcerated the press, all in the name of “preserving the union”.

Compare the figures:

losses on D-Day (6 June 1944): 6600

9/11: 3000

Sharpsburg: 22, 716

It is sad that the single day more Americans have died often goes without mention or remembrance except by historians.

The bloody Battle of Sharpsburg was a reminder of how determined the empire is to hold control over its subjects. The empire really did rain down hellfire on those who opposed it that day unlike the recent threats by the DNC to rain down hellfire on those opposing them . Pelosi is expressing concern about the rhetoric claiming that ‘there will be blood’, based on her experiences in San Francisco where two politicians died. Since she is from San Francisco, she is not aware of the events concerning Congressman John Pickney in 1905. When the Congressman tried to meddle with the freedom of freedom loving Texans in Hempstead, it led to disastrous results for the Congressman.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi forgets that she has been provoking the people for a long time and now that they are speaking out, she is concerned. She has not allowed the people a voice, and now that they have one that is speaking out against her and her policies, she is concerned. She should have considered that before what she has done.

Even though the Yankees had the battle plans for Lee’s army, they still did not deal the South a death blow at Sharpsburg. The battle showed the world that the South was not just a fad. It’s men would stand and fight for what was right. They did not back down. The CSA was for real. When Southrons bind themselves together, the world stands up and takes notice.

Let us draw strength from their example and see to it that the price paid was not in vain. The empire still wants control of the South, its people, their livelihoods, and their health. It is time to remember the example set for us by those brave men, especially the Texas brigade which paid a terrible price that bloody day.

The Southern Covenant

The Southern National Covenant

The undersigned Men and Women of the South to our fellow Southerners and on their behalf.

Our forefathers’ worst nightmare has now come upon us. They created a free government, limited in its powers and a servant to the people. But today the United States has become an empire, fast decaying into tyranny; and we their children have become strangers and subjects in the land our fathers won. Instead of a free and just social and political order, today we are threatened by a godless national culture and a corrupt, despotic federal government that knows no limits to its power.

Our political leaders, setting themselves above the law, have forged an unholy alliance with large corporations and the international money cartel. These elites have purchased the law-makers who are sworn to serve the People, enabling them to expropriate our wealth in the greatest act of plunder in human history. Through threat of force, government seizes half of all we make for taxes, yet it is still not enough to satisfy the vaulting greed of our rulers. Thus government spends staggering sums above its revenues, saddling our People with debt so colossal that it cannot be repaid to the fifth generation. To service this debt, the government-banking alliance has stolen our Constitutional and God-ordained right to sound money and has given the power to create money out of nothing to corrupt, private banking interests. Federal law forces us to use only this bank-created money; and because it must be borrowed into existence, our once free people have become enslaved to debt. The burden of confiscatory taxation, combined with runaway federal spending and a currency manipulated to benefit the ruling elites, has brought our country to the brink of bankruptcy and economic collapse, with all the political and social turmoil that must inevitably follow.

The federal regime has loosed upon us floods of immigrants, strangers to our laws and language embodying cultures and values contrary to those upon which our nation was founded, who are displacing us on the soil our fathers won with their sweat and blood. Fomenting hostility between the races and regions, our rulers have destroyed hope and spread despair. Injustice, tyranny, corruption, and deceit are the hallmarks of their governing. They call good evil and evil good, the recompense for which is divine judgment. Accelerated by dishonesty and corruption at every level of society and swept along by a daily torrent of official lies, America is plunging toward the abyss. We watch transfixed with horror at the destruction of a once free and prosperous country and are forced to acknowledge the American political and economic system is no longer sustainable. It has become a long train of abuses, evidencing a design to reduce us under absolute despotism. Thus it cannot be salvaged or redeemed, only replaced.

We Southerners proclaim our right to be free of these evils our ancestors warned against and shed their blood to prevent. The seeds of our deliverance remain alive within our faith, culture, and historic principles of governance of individual liberty, rule of law, and impartial justice. Southern culture is founded on the enduring and permanent: trust in God, family, tradition, manners, property, community, loyalty, courage, and honour. We know that free and just government cannot derive from laws, regulations, bureaucracies, and ideologies. It springs only from the soil of faith and love, watered by struggle and sacrifice, and the harvest of which is liberty, justice, prosperity, and peace.

Before all the nations of the earth we affirm that we are a separate and distinct People, with an honourable heritage worthy of the respect of all mankind. Bound together by a shared history, faith, and blood, we have endured hardship and tragedy but have also enjoyed the fruits of Christian civilisation built by God’s grace and the works of our hands. Under heaven, we possess the right to govern ourselves in our own land under our own laws, customs, and religion.

With more sadness than anger we recognize that the country our forebears bequeathed to us no longer exists. By depending on the central government’s increasingly worthless currency, its loans, subsidies, and payments, its putrescent schools, and its false promises of security, we have forged our own chains. But if we have forged our chains, we can also sever them.

We are left with no recourse but to look to our own counsel to secure our welfare. We must “abjure the realm,” withdrawing our support from the tyrannical government and corporate institutions created for our enslavement. Then we must work to restore the power of our States, the first bulwark of freedom, self-government, and Southern identity. As our forefathers did, we must establish a new foundation for law and government by all honourable means.

Therefore, with humble trust in the Sovereign Lord of Nations, and in the name of the Southern Nation and People whom we serve, we the Delegates of the Fourteen Southern States, in Congress assembled September 12, 2009 in Delta, Alabama; make and publish this Covenant, to which we invite all Southerners who yearn for liberty and justice to join us in subscribing.

By this Covenant we corporately pledge ourselves to the protection of our Southern cultural heritage and to the defence of liberty and justice for the Southern People and States. We bind and oblige ourselves, as we are by God and nature tied, with our lives, fortunes, and sacred honour to stand in defence of our native soil and People, contrary to this perverse and infamous regime now arrayed against the South. We swear that we will be ever ready to use all our best endeavours for her preservation, and that we will not cravenly and shamefully bow the knee to tyrants. By this bond, each of us faithfully promises to assist one another as the need demands. All of which before God we most solemnly vow and promise to adhere to and never to turn from, all the days of our lives.

In mutual support of one another as Christian Southerners, we covenant together

  • To renounce the evils of corrupt government that our forebears warned against, and to resist by all honourable means acts of federal tyranny, as our circumstances permit and as the Lord leads.

  • To seek to revive our local economies, working together to promote every man’s prosperity as our own and toward freeing ourselves from the snare the Empire’s worthless money and perpetual debt which are the lifeblood of tyranny, and seeking a return to honest public money in daily use — gold and silver coin or currency backed by gold and silver.

  • To support every measure which restores the sovereignty of our State and local governments, and the sovereignty of the Southern people.

  • To resist any Federal statute or Presidential directive that threatens our fundamental freedoms of speech, press, assembly, exercise of religion, and petition for redress, freedom from illegal search and seizure, and the right of due process under law.

  • Never to allow ourselves willingly to be disarmed nor submit to the confiscation of our means of lawful self defence; nor comply with any firearms registration scheme, which is the certain precursor to confiscation.

We declare before God and men that we earnestly desire to restore a Godly order in our respective States by peaceful means. We seek only that which may turn to the honour of God and the increase of peace and justice in our States and communities. Yet the growing evils of the time may not grant us the choice of peaceful means of redress. In such a pass, when criminal violence may be directed against one of us by the state, our fortunes shall be as their fortunes, their wives or husbands as our wives and husbands, their children as our children, their losses as our losses, and injuries done them as injuries to our own persons; and we shall not rest till they be delivered.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF to the God of our Fathers, to all Southern People, to all powers, nations, and states, and to all humankind, we affix our names to this Covenant, beseeching the favour of Almighty God on a just cause. May God bless our Covenant and keep us faithful to perform all we have covenanted together to do.

Prevarication by any other name.

Once again the leadership of the House of Representatives under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi has taken the bold move of banning use of banning referring to the President as a liar, intellectually dishonest or a hypocrite. It seems that it does not matter whether or not he is a liar, you just can;t use that term. Once more, the leadership of Nancy Pelosi reveals dunderheaded answers to the real problems they are facing. Using her logic, by not being able to use those ‘forbidden’ names, the office of President will be respected. All her actions does is cater to the lowest common denominator of the public. It keeps the Congress from using terms that the public would easily understand. They can still refer to him as prevaricating, fooling the people or that he speaks ‘untruths’ or that he is misleading the people.

That means they can not use the quote by Lincoln the tyrant of “No man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar. ” If they changed it to “No man has a good enough memory to be a successful PRESIDENT” will be the new version.

They can still use this one “You can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time”.

It is humorous that a Congressman can no longer refer to the head of the regime as ‘cowardly’ either. This one is funny in that she is trying to hamstring the elected representatives with socialist ’speech codes’ like those used at many universities to prevent ‘freedom of speech’.  This is cultural marxism at its finest. Pelosi is showing that the House leadership can not handle debate, or honest discussions. They can ramrod bills through, but they have taken repeated steps to curtail any honesty in deliberations and discussions.

In the days of Rome, it was commonly held that the politicians and Senate would be able to discuss matters. That is not so in Pelosi’s house. In Greece, when a bad bill was passed, the people held the person who wrote the bill and voted for it accountable. We need more of that with the massive injections of money into the economy that have not done anything but increase government power, dependency and stall for time while they actively work on the Reconstruction of America. Here in the South, we know about reconstruction. Now the Pelosi/Obama politburo  is implementing a new reconstruction of the whole nation. They wanted Change and they are going to force it on us whether we want it or not.

In the South we call ‘em as we see ‘em.

-The plan will not cover illegals

-The plan does not cover abortion

-The plan does not have death panels

-You can keep your doctor and your insurance

-The elderly will not face rationing or Medicare cuts

-I will not negotiate behind close doors, but bring all parties together and broadcast those negotiations on C-SPAN …

-We have to enlist the American people in this process …

-I would welcome input …

-If you have better ideas please present them …

-The public will be part of the conversation

-That builds accountability into the system because now that Congressman is put on the spot

-You can
shame
Congress into doing the right thing

-I respect what the Clinton’s tried to do in 1993 but they made one really big mistake … they took all their experts into one room and then they closed the door. They tried to design the plan in isolation from the American people.

The two-bit liar Prevaricator told a bald faced lies misled the people during the campaign with lies about untruths about his life and policies. Given that he lied back then about his own family, what makes one think that he will tell the truth now?

Tea party protesters are wrong

David Axelrod, who is the one of the regime’s close advisers stated that the ‘Tea Party Protesters are wrong‘. When I saw the statement, my first thought was that he was ‘out to lunch’. As I pondered it, I considered the question, “What is he saying?” On thinking his statement through, there are several possible conclusions.

1. The regime is so dead set in their beliefs, they are not open to other opinions. They refuse hearing  other opinions. Given that he was born in New York and spent much of his life in Chicago, Axelrod, who is the “usurper’s” closest adviser is filled with the Yankee mindset of thinking that they know what is best. Whether due to “we know best” mindset of simple delusions, he is in a position to influence opinions. With him sincerely believing the line is saying, it indicates that the regime is closed to opinions other than their own.

2. The regime, like imperial Rome, only considers the opinions of those it deems ‘citizens’. The other non-citizens or plebes. The regime does not want to consider traditional values. The regime is actively pursuing a Reconstruction of the nation. In this reconstruction, certain values are not even considered.

3. The regime, by referring to the protesters as ‘wrong’ has a dualistic mindset. There are rights and wrongs. What they consider right and wrong are diametrically opposed to traditional concepts of these ideas. The regime talks open mindedness, but governs from a close minded approach.

4. The regime is ‘out of touch’ and delusional. The regime mistakenly believes it has a mandate. There is a narcissistic mindset that their view is the only one. Given the administrations past use of imperial images (Berlin, Jerusalem, inauguration) there is a strong possibility of messianic narcissism. When that kind of thinking takes root, those afflicted do not accept ‘no’ or any form of reality that makes them uncomfortable.

Whatever is behind Axelrod’s statement, it bodes ill for Southrons in terms of hoping to be heard through traditional methods. It bodes well in that it will help wake people up that the administration is non-responsive and non-representative. Many Americans would have left their spouse long ago if they were treated like the Obama administration treats Southrons. The States left England when they were unresponsive. Texas left Mexico when they were unresponsive. Obama would benefit from their examples.

I am sure that Santa Anna’s advisers said that the Texians were wrong and that King George’s advisers said that the colonists were wrong. Both Santa Anna and King Geoerge III had narcissistic beliefs that they knew what was best also.

Hate Speech

It is no surprise that the voice against the Obama regime’s lies comes from the South. It is also no surprise the the liberal media is quick to jump on Joe Wilson’s membership in the SCV (Sons of Confederate Veterans) as being neo-Confederate. The freelance journalist David Neiwert, like many freelance liberal journalists, failed to do his homework and does his best to paint Joe Wilson as part of the neo-Confederates. Guess who is spreading the association of neo-Confederate with Joe Wilson…It was none other than the misleading SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center). Neiwart used the SPLC’s hatchet job and misguided report to push his own agenda.  Neiwart has an axe to grind and refers to talk radio as “Hate Talk”, which makes it very clear where he stands on freedom of speech. Many of these type of journalist ignore the vicious labels used against anyone with traditional values, but when someone dares to confront or speak out against the liberal media they are quick to yell “Hate Speech”. Even the Huffington Post is questioning whether or not the SPLC has become a ‘hate group’ themselves.

When the label of “hate speech” is used, the dialogue ceases to be dialogue, but rather turns into a name calling match. The “Progressives” (which act more like the ‘brownshirt’ label they use against their opponents) do not deal well with debate and dialogue. It is common knowledge that Nancy Pelosi often shuts the Republicans out of discussions and debates with her tactics.   She also will not allow the Republican Congressional Representatives use their mail to tell about how she censors them.

Hate speech used to be attacks against a persons race involving death threats or threats of bodily harm. In its present usage, ‘hate speech’ has evolved into a label affixed to anyone opposing the progressive policies or its politicians. The Apostle Paul encountered such thinking in his days when he posed the question (paraphrased), “Do I become your enemy because I speak the truth?”.
