Congressman Lloyd Doggett of the 25th US CONgressional district in Texas now claims that the protests at his ‘town hall’ was manufactured. His response is appalling! First because he is from Texas and secondly because he is my assigned hired help. Many of my letters and calls have not been responded to. The protests are for real. His response indicates that he is living in a “manufactured reality” regarding policy. His reference to those protesting as a ‘mob’ is also demeaning. He refuses to acknowledge that they are his constituents. As his constituents, they are unhappy with policies that he approved. He cares more about what the Imperial City thinks is best for Texas than Texans do. His response is typical of the arrogance of the liberal democratic party and the powers that be. Doggett claims that the protest was organized by local Republicans and that those in attendance were not from his district. As someone who lives in his district, it was the mailing from his office that announced the time and place of the town hall. The local republicans did not organize any response to his town hall. I doubt that this aspect will be presented, but who are you going to believe, the national media or someone who lives there?
One way to tell if a protest is ‘manufactured’ is to look at the signs. Genuine protest often have hand painted signs. The manufactured ones indicate that some else is bankrolling the operation. When protesters come with pre-made jingles and slogans, someone has likely put them up to it.A good example of a manufactured protest is the one in Jena, Louisiana. At that location, Congress Critters came in from other states, protesters were shipped in by bus, yet the media and Representative Doggett did not call that protest ‘manufactured’. The whole use of the term amounts to nothing more than spin to avoid getting egg on their face and so that they can maintain a facade that their policies are actually what the ‘people’ want. This delusion is what keeps them going and helps them feel good about what they are doing to the people.
Doggett’s arrogance is also shared by the regime as a whole, who want to dismiss the tea parties and anger of the citizens as some kind of ‘dirty trick’ being played. The arrogance is highlighted by leftist bloggers who have labeled those opposed to the proposed health care plan as ‘health care deniers” in a ploy aimed at images of holocaust deniers. The comparison is intentional at least by Brian Dockstader. Rather than debate the issues, it is easier to label the dissenters and resort to name calling, which is a common tactic. When you can’t win, resort to name calling with frequent emphasis on the use of Nazi and fascist symbolism. Using such tactics is a strategy employed by the Nazis. By being the first to call names, they often hope to change public opinion and ‘demonize’ the opposition.
Rather than discuss what the plan would cost, ways of maintaining private insurance, ways of improving health care delivery or medical lawsuit reform, they would rather name call.
They are either arrogant or they are so out of touch with the everyday people that they do not realize the anger and angst they have toward the occupational government. They do not realize that the people do not trust the government. While men like Doggett are busy banning light bulbs, raising taxes, promoting abortion, pushing single payor systems and instituting carbon taxes, the common people see their actions and do not approve of what is going on. Even though there are some socialists in Austin that feed into the socialist utopia mentality and support such CONgressmen, the common ranchers, farmers and businessmen and women do not trust or support such policies. They do not want to be taxed to death. It is nice that there is a NEW Federal Court House going up in San Marcos, thanks to Lloyd, but the people need water, they need tax relief, they need the government out of their business rather than his supporting the Federal government seizing control of food production and the water resources. It is amazing how some fresh contruction often distracts from the real needs.
Liberty for Texas and the South!

PS After Lloyd Doggett’s episode in South Austin, he has scheduled other town halls where he can spin the health care plan (which he admits that he wrote part of) to select or ‘manufactured’ audiences. Rather than speak in rural areas where traditional values prevail, he focuses on inner city Austin venues and local school teachers.
