Freedom by another name

Whenever the textbooks are being reviewed, it seems to bring things out. It brings out sincere people and also brings out the educational termites, that seek to eat away the truth and events that socialist-minded people would rather forget.

Given the socialist penchance for reverse labelling, the Texas Freedom Network is the latest example. (Historically, the Bolsheviks [which means majority, was in fast the smallest political party] were reverse labelled in order to fool the masses).  The Texas Freedom Network is the latest in that stream of thought. They have berated many members of the State Board of Education claiming that their views are ‘extreme’.

Some of the examples they provide include:

-Calling the public indoctrination centers ‘tyrannical’ and teachers of perversion.[The old Texas adage was 'call 'em as you see 'em].

-Claiming that  Barack Obama “truly sympathizes” with enemies out to destroy America [well he is a friend of socialists, black liberation [socialist] theology and socialist tyrants in Kenya] and that Obama is poised to destroy the Constitution and take full control of the government. [The truth is a hard thing for liberals to accept. The Hussein regime has already ruined the automotive industry, the financial industry and now wants to ruin healthcare. They have placed people and policies in position that are antithetical to traditional values. What more could you want?]

- Comparing supporters of teaching science on evolution to slave traders and Nazis. [It is established that the Nazis loved the idea of better living through better breeding. They loved genetics and the whole idea of evolution. The Nazi's often used the term the "master race" since they sincerely believed that they were evolved to higher levels]

-They were charged with daring to oppose teaching Islam to Texas students.

From reading the ‘freedom network’ website, they scream at how these officials dare to preserve freedom. They want the State Board to be filled with academics who are part of the educational system that work toward maintaining ‘political correctness’. Fits are being thrown over the possibility of removing Cesar Chavez from the proposed texts. It seems that they want every  socialist oriented trouble maker included. I suspect that the Freedom Network does not even know about Joseph Bays or Thomas Pilgrim who did more for freedom and the people than Chavez ever did. I doubt that the Freedom Network will fight for their inclusion, since they were ‘Christians’ who came to Texas and improved the schools and religious tolerance here.

I needed a chuckle to start the day and the Texas Freedom Network gave me more than I could hope for.

Liberty for Texas and the South!
