The American press often portrays the actions of the Chosen One as ‘beyond reproach’. It seems that he can bash America to the world, but you do not hear about the world bashing him here in the empire. The reality is that many do not like his meddling. In Germany and in Paris, the criticisms of the Chosen One is the talk on the streets, especially concerning Turkey. The Chosen One is pressuring the EU to accept Turkey into their union. European know what the real Turkey is like. Their mindset is (to paraphrase) ‘let Turkey become a part of the United States if he wants it so bad’.
It is also noteworthy that although the Chosen One did not visit Normandy to lay a wreath and pay homage to the American dead on that battlefield, he managed to visit the tomb of Ataturk in Turkey and lay a wreath at that location. (Remember the lesson-Look at what they do, not what they say).
The Chosen One’s ignorance of the history of the region was apparent in his comments. He said, “Centuries of shared history, culture and commerce bring you together”. He forgets that many of those centuries, Turkey was part of the western Roman empire, known as the Byzantine. Even when it was Byzantine, there was no assurance of peace. After the Mohammedeans took over, relations became very hostile. Many European capitols and nations were threatned by the invasions of the Mohammedeans and Turks. The leaders in Turkey often expelled or killed Greeks, Kurds, Armenians and Christians. (The last body count for the 20th century was 30,000 Kurds and over 1 million Armenians). Turkey was not and is not a safe place to live, especially if you are a Kurd, Armenian or Christian. The outlook is not very bright if you are an artist either. The Chosen One conveniently forgets his history of those many bloody centuries of war. Europe knows what Turkey brings with it both in policy, culture and oppression. President Washington warned the people not to meddle in European affairs. It would do the Chosen One well to heed the words of George Washington.

PS The European criticism of the Chosen One continue. In the latest, Nicolas Sarkozy portrays the Chosen One as “unoriginal, unsubstantial and overrated.” Sarkozy then goes on to tell his version of the Chosen One’s visit to Europe.
PS-In another slap in the empire and the Hussein regime, European Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner said that the admission of Turkey into the EU is a European decision. “it’s true that it’s an European decision, but we all know the position of the USA”.
