Although the International community recognized the Independence of Kosovo when some radicals issued a Declaration of Independence a year ago, the people of the region feel differently about the issue. The locally elected representatives consider themselves part of Serbia. Talk about a double standard, when the people of the Occupied South (including Texas) , Quebec and Scotland express a desire for Independence, with elected representatives, such actions are not recognized. The empire and other nation states do not play fair, act justly or even consistently with their policies. The principle of International Law are applied only when it is to their advantage. As we near the anniversary of Texas Indepence which was declared 172 years ago, it is a time to consider such proposals again. We are presently occupied by a people whose values, culture and policies are alien to those of Texas. Rather than self-reliance, they advocate dependence on government. Rather than allodial title to land, they advocate the right to tax land and income. Rather than let the people of Texas maintain their arms, the occupational government views the right to bear arms as a priviledge that they can monitor and remove at their choice. Rather than have freedom of choice with medical care, the occupational government advocates its control of private medical information and seeks to put limits on our health care. Rather than allow the parents of Texas to decide what values are taught to their children, Senators like Diane Fienstein are advocating that those rights be removed and given to the United Nations to make such choices.
The empire only recognized a nations soverignty when it is to its own advantage. They don’t just have a double standard, it is a triple and quadruple standard.
Free Texas!
