Renegade CONgress critters!

What is Maxine Waters doing in Detroit? She is accountable to her constituents of California. She is elected to represent the citizens of her 35th CONgressional district in California. You can imagine my amazement when her district expanded to include Detroit, Michigan and Jena, Louisiana. As typical of her style, she is threatening to sue. She uses the courts and threat of courts to force her will upon whomever she chooses. She meddles in Louisiana and threatened them with court action and now she is in Detroit, threatening people with court action up there. If she was using the force of a gun rather than of the courts, she would be nothing more than a common robber travelling across the country and threatening to use force in order to take things that are not hers.

Change? It sounds more like a regression to beast-like laws, where force and threat, rather than justice and law are used to maintain order. In the early days of the Republic of Texas, lawsuits and threats were also used on a regular basis. Such kind of brigand law led to hangings and further violence. We need to move forward and use law and justice to restore order rather than threats.

When CONgress critters go renegade like this, it is a threat to all liberties.  Consider the potential threat when coupled with Barry Sortero/Barak Hussein Obama’s views on interpreting the Constitution:

And uh, to that extent, as radical as I think people tried to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn’t that radical. It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution — at least as it’s been interpreted, and Warren Court interpreted it in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties: [It] says what the states can’t do to you, says what the federal government can’t do to you, but it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf.”

The empire is on the brink of many troubles. It is a time to pray.

Free Texas!
