The Yankee mindset has not changed much over the years. They still want to meddle in other people’s business and tell them how to live. Take a look at the Chicago Tribune’s response to the gun ban ruling. Rather than minding their own business, they advocate repealing the second amendment for everyone! It is amazing how some journalist have no become legal and historic experts in knowing what the founding fathers intended. Many of the Founding fathers and most of the early Presidents were Southerners. They wanted to be left alone by the government. The Yankee mindset is that government is your savior. Government makes things right. The exact opposite provides the answer. We need less government. Take a look at the major cities with gun bans-Chicago, the Imperial City, and San Francisco. Would a decent Southron want to live in any of those places? Are they fit to raise a family in?
It is not just with guns, but also the same-sex marriage issue, and various tax issues. Obama is full of the Yankee mindset. He advocates re-instituting the assault weapons ban, and banning firearms within 5 miles of a school, and eliminating concealed firearms. In other words, he is not a friend of liberty or gun rights.
The Yankee mindset has a long tradition of being associated with the Marxists. The Yankee army had many Marxists in their ranks in the 1860’s (e.g. Augustus Willich, Franz Seigel, etc.) and little has changed since. They still want centralized control, via government as the answer to problems, want to change the social structure of the South, hate Biblical Christianity, hate freedom (and guns), and want to reduce those freedoms.
Make no mistake, the same issues that existed in the 1860’s remain unsettled. Should people be given the right to govern themselves or is it up to the government to decide what is best for the people?
Although I am not a fan of Gore Vidal, his comments are worth taking note of. He recently commented that “the US is not a republic anymore“. He bases this on the disregard of Constitutional law, suspension of habeus corpus and other events. If you are a student of history, it was under Caesar that Rome ceased being a republic and turned into an empire. Is Vidal observing a parallel in events? It certainly bears watching. As Southrons, we know that the republic ended in 1865, it has just taken the Yankees this long to wake up to it. It is only when their Constitutional rights have been taken away that they take notice of things. We in the South have known this for a long time. We need a free Southern nation.
The wackiness of Barak Obama and his campaign is getting worse. The recent action by a group of Hindus to make, pray for and send Obama an idol of the monkey god is based on his carrying a smaller version for good luck. -The man is an idolator! What makes matters worse is that an Obama campaign worker, Alyssa Martin is assisting the pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell in setting up an anti-Dobson site. (The site is JamesDobsonDoesntSpeakforme.com) . This is the same Kirbyjon Caldwell that married Bush’s daughter Jenna recently. Caldwell has set up the site proclaiming that Dobson does not speak for him. The site has references that talk about togetherness and not speaking bad about one’s neighbor, which I guess Caldwell is immune from. The site speaks for itself in a mixture of pick and choose passages taken out of context. The reverend has some questions to answer in standing against a fellow Christian in preference to supporting an idolator. Nehemiah, whom he references spoke very clearly about seperating yourself from such people. (I guess in the new versions of Scripture, the good reverend overlooked such passages). The whole handling of Alyssa Martin is of concern as well. He denied knowing her and then admitted to working with her. That confuses me. He either does not know her or knows her. The Reverend also delivered the benediction at the current regime’s inauguration into power. His actions speak louder than his words ever do.
The Obama campaign has been outspoken on issues in variance to the teachings of Holy Scripture. It now seems it is more grevious to speak out against Obama than it is to speak out against ungodly behavior. Since he believes in the monkey god, I guess he has no use for the teachings of the one true God of the Bible. Look at where he has spoken, “Saddleback Church” in California. If you are not in the know, this is Rick Warren’s (of Purpose Driven Lifefame) church. There is a lot of talk about “persons of faith” instead of God fearing, Bible believing Christians.
Jefferson Davis never worshiped a monkey god. He served the God of the Bible. He spent many hours at Beaviour under an oak tree on the property studying the Holy Scriptures. He witnessed to others of Jesus, rather than telling crude vulgar jokes inprivate company like the usurper Lincoln did.
The actions speak for themselves. In the early days of Texas, religious freedom was something that the early colonists fought for. When the Southern nation rose, it valued its religious beliefs and worhsipped the God of the Bible. It was not by accident that the Yankees considered the Bible contraband. Once again, the Bible and its teachings are considered divisive and dangerous. Have the people not learned their lessons from the war and history itself? When nations leave God, God leaves those nations.
The Supreme Court’s ruling said that it is “an individual liberty but that it was not unlimited and could be regulated”. This is a contradiction in terms. If it is a liberty, then it should not be regulated. Regulation and liberty do not go hand in hand. When liberties are regulated what was once termed “freedom is no longer a freedom… it has become a privilege”. This is what was done with drivers licenses. At their start, driving was a right. The State turned it into a privilege. Now we have the Supreme Court saying that any government can regulate firearms. It won’t be a freedom or a right when they say that you can no longer own any caliber higher than .22 for personal protection or that your long rifles must be kept at the police or sheriff’s office. It is no longer freedom when you have to schedule a time to check them out if you wish to go hunting. Such actions are those of a tyranny.
This whole deal smells rotten and is a clear example of the corrupt dealings of the regime. The regime once again has placed profits ahead of national security, ahead of soverignty and ahead of the Southern people.
Bruce Schnieder wrote a column today on the new technology (The article is entitled, “I’ve seen the future and it has a kill switch). Although the Nashville Agrarians expressed a well-deserved disdain for progressivism (Progress just for the sake of progress), once technology is developed it is not easily put in a box. Southron culture will continue with or without advents in technology. What is a matter of concern is how some of the big companies and government are working together to make technology that intentionally does not work. The idea of police having the capability to stop cars via electronic signals is definitely a threat to everyone’s freedom.
It is intrusive that government can disable cell phones, cameras, or whatever as the situation arises. With the new technology, there are new ways devised of using it to control the masses. The threats to freedom are considerable.
Ya’ll need to be aware of how the freedoms available through the new technologies also have new control mechanisms. You may want to purchase used cars (without onstar), use old technology cameras, and learn how to take your electronic devices “off the matrix”.
Southrons can certainly benefit from new technologies, but we must not be cripples by them.
The whole disrepect of borders is un-Biblical. The sanctuary movement shows a flagrant disregard for teachings in this area. The sanctuary movement is creeping into mainline denominations. Instead of sheltering criminals, they need to be salt and light and preserve the values of a Christian culture.
We do need immigration, but not at the expense of our values, culture and laws. We need instead to preserve the culture, maintain the common law legal traditions, and maintain the traditional Biblical values of the Southern peoples.
Today’s news concerning the Presidential candidates amounts to whether you want a pile of smelly garbage or a stinky pile of garbage. Both major candidates are losers. Neither is a friend of the South. Obama has sold out on the FISA bill (e.g. the bill that tramples the fourth amendment, allowing warrantless spying. To make matters even worse, Obama had some words with James Dobson on the Bible. Obama has some unusual interpretation of the Bible along with his interpretation of the Constitution. With Obama not just talking weird about the Constitution, he has shown through his actions that he does not value the preservation and the protection of the rights it contains. By his compromise on the FISA bill he violated his oath to uphold the Constitution when he took office. (BTW-my CONgress critter, Nick Lampson voted for FISA, as did Gene Green, Al Green, and Poe. Shiela Jackson-Lee voted against it! Good for her) The only thing he has shown action on is the removal of his ‘new’ interpretation of the Presidential seal. His actions show that the only Higher Power or authority he serves is the masses. He is not loyal to Bible or Constitution as shown by comments and action. (IN breaking news, religious leaders in India are sending him an idol to help with his campaign. AN IDOL! If that doesn’t take all. It is logical, since if you reject Christianity, you will serve something else. In Obama’s case it looks like it is an idol. He could take a stand and reject it, OR say nothing, accept it and act like an idol worshiper. In the article, an Indian spokesperson said that Obama had great faith in the idol, so I guess it makes it clear that his faith is in idols).
McCain on the other hand has openly admitted that he does not know how to operate a computer. (see video through link). We already have him blatantly lying concerning his stance on the Confederate flag. In my mind, he is not a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. His total disregard of marriage is clear from his history of affairs. His disregard of political office is clear from his involvement in the Keating Five episode.
If we used a Biblical model, leaders are supposed to show good family leadership, which neither of these men do. With McCain it is affairs, with Obama, his disregard of Scripture and misplaced loyalties concerning his family are a concern. If you are a Bible believing man, who uses it for a standard, neither candidate is even qualified for a prominent leadership role.
The Senate was no help today either. The Foreclosure Prevention Act of 2008 passed the vote of Cloture today. This means that there will not be debate on the matter. Both of the Senators from Texas voted for the measure. Both Senators running for office did not vote. It is unclear at this point if the Dodd measure that requires reporting of electronic transactions was included in the version that passed. The bill has 206 amendments, with many being labelled, “Purpose will be available when the amendment is proposed for consideration. See Congressional Record for text.” With such flim-flam wording, you can rest assured that the hired help are up to no good. The Senators seem very willing to spend money that is not theirs to spend. It amounts to taking money from our grandchildren and giving it to someone else’s grandchildren. Since they consider it “a good cause”, it makes it all alright. When legislation if filled with flim-flam words and phrases, the best thing to do is vote against it.
