In a further invasion of privacy, Senator Carl Milton Levin wants to investigate whether or not US citizens have accounts in Lichtenstein bank. He apparently does not like secrecy laws and offshore accounts. His actions illustrate the pompous attitude many officials have. They view money held by US citizens subjects as “their” money. They have forgotten that it is not their money. The arrogance of the Leviathan Yankee government is astounding. The people earn the money, it does not belong to the government. They think that the government is entitled to a share of the money earned by the people. This difference raises a significant questions. “Do we have financial freedom?” “Can we spend the money we own anyway we choose?” “Is is our money or the government’s money?” If we do not have economic freedom, we surely do not have political freedom.
Carl Levin needs to focus his concern on taking care of Michigan rather than chasing down funds in Lichtenstein. He is no friend of gun rights, wants strict fuel efficiency standards and supports stem cell research. Levin has been outspoken about who should be in control of the government in Iraq rather than let their people choose for themselves. He advocates all these items while in his state, the city of Dearborn in transforming into a Islamic stronghold. His actions reveal much about his priorities and loyalties. He is the epitome of an intrusive Yankee meddling politician.
The League advocates that it is your money. You can spend it however you wish. The way this nation was set up, the original method of financing the operations of government was from collecting duty on imports and export, not the earnings of its people. Who do we have to thank for this arrogance of government, why none other than the tyrant Abraham Lincoln who first came up with a tax on the income of the people.
