Pakistan and Mexico

The assassination of Bhutto has brought Pakistan into the attention of the world and the States United. Not surprisingly, the event has been brought into the presidential campaign. Fair enough, the public does need to hear how the candidates will handle foreign affairs. They will now face questions about responding to such events.

In listening to the response of CONgressmen and the hired hands in office, they now want to send more money to Pakistan! The current regime has already sent 5 BILLION dollars to Pakistan to combat terrorism. What did we get for our 5 Billion dollars? Very little. CONgress did set some limits on the regime in terms of how much money Pakistan will get. This seems to be a paper tiger. The regime was boasting that it will get past the CONgressional limit even before the death of Bhutto. Now that there is chaos in that nation, the likelihood that the regime will get its wish is higher. This bipartisan blog is already clamoring for more funds. Even though CONgress put stipulations on the funds that prevent cash transfer assistance, the regime has ignored those stipulations and is doing it anyway. Could we expect anything less from a regime whose leader idealizes the tyrant Lincoln?

What does this have to do with the South? Plenty. 1) The Empire continues involving itself in the affairs of other nations that are none of its business. If the empire was equally involved in the elections of Mexico, there would be an outcry. Granted, the empire does not want the nuclear weapons to fall into the wrong hands, yet it is their weapons. It is Pakistani property, not the Empire. 2) The money spent is from our tax dollars. 5 Billion dollars is a lot of money. With the banking crisis and the economy in shambles state side, we need the funds here. Investing 5 billion in improving the security of the borders would go a long way here. I do not understand the logic of how 5 billion dollars spent in some third world nation will improve the security of our borders here. 3) It is not the regime’s money. They forget that their role is one of stewardship of the people’s money and the States resources. The Pakistan situation does not show good financial stewardship. Recall that the deeper the debt grows, the greater the chains that are on the Southron people. The Yankees will not let us go without paying our share of the debt they caused.

Free the South!

Free Texas!
