Our governor has shown that he is a scalawag. In his latest actions, he spoke to leaders in Mexico City. In his speech, he criticized CONgress for not passing immigration reform and wants millions of criminal illegal immigrants legalized. He claims that we need those people to grow our economy in Texas. In my mind the jobs in Texas need to go to Texans first, not nationals from some other locale. His actions show that he is NOT putting Texas and Texans first, he is putting big business and industry first. His ‘true’ loyalties are showing through. He also goes so far to say that the majority of those who come to Texas want to take care of their families. WHAT? If they wanted to take care of their own families, why does the government subsidize them so extensively? Why does the government bend over backward for them? Why not have the school districts charge them an out-of-nation fee for providing services to them? No, the People of the Sovereign State of Texas will be caring for and paying for those families. We will also be paying for their healthcare. We he says they are good for the economy, he wants his tax revenues. His talk of ‘free flow of people’ sounds to me like he wants to do away with the borders. We need stronger border enforcement at this time, not weaker. Perry knows full well that Texas provides the know how and skills for the Mexican petroleum industry. Has he forgotten that Mexico nationalized (i.e. stole the oil fields and materials from private companies) its oil at the expense of American companies. He has also forgotten that a little over 50 years ago, Mexico was selling its oil to Nazi Germany. Some friend Mexico has been. Perry has forgotten his history of Mexican oil and Mexican loyalties. He has even forgotten his loyalty to Texas.

P.S. In response to the comment. A Scalawag is a Southerner who sells out their people or state. I have used that label for the Viceroy ( A Spanish term for the imperial ruler of a State) due to his pattern of not putting the people of Texas first. His actions on the Confederate plaques, toll roads, vaccinations and in his dealings with Mexico have shown that he is not putting Texas and Texans first. He is more concerned with big business interests and the politics of the imperial city (Mordor on the Potomac) than the wishes of Texans. On the issues regarding Mexico, he seems more interested in letting jobs go to Mexican nationals rather than Texans. Since he put Mexico and its citizens ahead of Texas and its citizens, I labeled him a scalawag.

Recall that when the Mexican oil fields were established, it was Texas know how and American companies that built it. When Mexico nationalized the oil industry they took over stole the equipment from the American companies. This same nation cooperated with Nazi Germany by selling them oil. So we had Mexican oil being used to power the engines of the airplanes and tanks that killed Southern men and women. People have forgotten what Mexico did during the war and their conspiring with the enemy. Although the Empire will chastise places like Cuba for their associations and rhetoric, they do not hesitate to associate with Mexico which has shown a disdain for Texas, its citizens and their property repeatedly. -JM
