In thinking through the ramifications of Governor Perry’s speech in Mexico City, a realization has occurred. That realization is that in tyrannical regimes, the interests of business or industry always overrides those of the people. When keeping the gears of the machine take priority over the people, a devaluing occurs. This is fascism, pure and simple. The value of human life has little value. This is the outcome of materialism. Materialism is nothing more that the by-product of social atheism. Many of our political leaders in an effort to keep their beliefs out of public policy have instead proceeded on a course of social atheism. This course has led to a very materialistic society. The emphasis is on having a strong economy. Why didn’t Governor Perry talk about values that make a strong state. What is Texas doing to become spiritually strong? What is Texas doing to become morally stronger? Little is being done in these areas by government. Instead, they are seeking the development of industry. With the increase of emphasis on industry, the humanity factor diminishes. Even with the Trans-Texas Corridor, what matters is the speed of commerce through Texas. The politicos don’t care about those pushed out by eminent domain. Land that has been in families for generations will now be owned by the State Spanish companies. This same kind of thinking went on in Hitler’s Germany. Mexico traded with Hitler’s Germany, but to these pragmatic politicos, that does not matter. Principle means nothing to them, they only want results. Quality of life is now defined by material wealth, not in terms of the ‘goodness’ or hospitality of the people of Texas. This same mindset is that of the tyrant in chief who pursues American interests overseas, but does little to protect the quality of life or morality here in Texas. His grandfather traded with Hitler to make a buck, but I guess that does not matter. In the new mindset, character does not matter.
If we are to be a strong nation, we must be a good nation. Our leaders have pursued a soul less agenda and we will have to deal with the fruits of their decisions.

their ancestors.”–Edmund Burke, British Philosopher, 1729-1797.

Our governor has shown that he is a scalawag. In his latest actions, he spoke to leaders in Mexico City. In his speech, he criticized CONgress for not passing immigration reform and wants millions of criminal illegal immigrants legalized. He claims that we need those people to grow our economy in Texas. In my mind the jobs in Texas need to go to Texans first, not nationals from some other locale. His actions show that he is NOT putting Texas and Texans first, he is putting big business and industry first. His ‘true’ loyalties are showing through. He also goes so far to say that the majority of those who come to Texas want to take care of their families. WHAT? If they wanted to take care of their own families, why does the government subsidize them so extensively? Why does the government bend over backward for them? Why not have the school districts charge them an out-of-nation fee for providing services to them? No, the People of the Sovereign State of Texas will be caring for and paying for those families. We will also be paying for their healthcare. We he says they are good for the economy, he wants his tax revenues. His talk of ‘free flow of people’ sounds to me like he wants to do away with the borders. We need stronger border enforcement at this time, not weaker. Perry knows full well that Texas provides the know how and skills for the Mexican petroleum industry. Has he forgotten that Mexico nationalized (i.e. stole the oil fields and materials from private companies) its oil at the expense of American companies. He has also forgotten that a little over 50 years ago, Mexico was selling its oil to Nazi Germany. Some friend Mexico has been. Perry has forgotten his history of Mexican oil and Mexican loyalties. He has even forgotten his loyalty to Texas.
Free Texas from Scalawags!

P.S. In response to the comment. A Scalawag is a Southerner who sells out their people or state. I have used that label for the Viceroy ( A Spanish term for the imperial ruler of a State) due to his pattern of not putting the people of Texas first. His actions on the Confederate plaques, toll roads, vaccinations and in his dealings with Mexico have shown that he is not putting Texas and Texans first. He is more concerned with big business interests and the politics of the imperial city (Mordor on the Potomac) than the wishes of Texans. On the issues regarding Mexico, he seems more interested in letting jobs go to Mexican nationals rather than Texans. Since he put Mexico and its citizens ahead of Texas and its citizens, I labeled him a scalawag.
Recall that when the Mexican oil fields were established, it was Texas know how and American companies that built it. When Mexico nationalized the oil industry they took over stole the equipment from the American companies. This same nation cooperated with Nazi Germany by selling them oil. So we had Mexican oil being used to power the engines of the airplanes and tanks that killed Southern men and women. People have forgotten what Mexico did during the war and their conspiring with the enemy. Although the Empire will chastise places like Cuba for their associations and rhetoric, they do not hesitate to associate with Mexico which has shown a disdain for Texas, its citizens and their property repeatedly. -JM

When I read the article that Southern CONgress critters are pushing to eliminate birthright citizenship, I experienced a Yee-haw of joy, thinking, “It’s about time!”. A brief search of news items on the topic show that both Mike Huckabee , Ron Paul and Mitt Romney have each suggested eliminating birthright citizenship. The topic was also brought to the media’s attention in 2005. Given its emergence this close to a presidential election, the suggestion of such a move may be an election strategy. It would be nice to begin undoing the damage inflicted on this land by the 14th amendment.
That amendment has been the source of grievous issues and trouble for the South. A brief history of how the 14th amendment was interpreted into ‘birthright citizenship’ is given here. The 14th amendment has been the basis for abortion, the elimination of many States Rights, affirmative action and the invasion of this land via uncontrolled illegal immigration. This amendment has caused the loss of more life and more money than the nation has lost in all the wars combined. It has placed a financial burden on all of the empire’s legal subjects and been used to allow evils unleashed across the land. It would not be going to far to say that this amendment has been used for evil satanic purposes far beyond what the atheistic authors of the amendment intended.
It boggles the mind to think that in the Roe v. Wade ruling, the amendment was interpreted to mean that we have a ‘right’ to privacy. Where is that “right” now that the Patriot Act has been implemented? It seems that the supposed ‘right’ to privacy only existed at the time the case was argued. This kind of smoke and mirrors courtroom chicanery has stolen more freedoms from the citizens than foreign armies ever have. The 14th amendment does not mention the items that it has been used to justify. One thing it does outlaw is the freedom to question the validity of the debt it incurred in oppressing the south. The mere inclusion of such a statement is nothing more that a way to stop debate on the topic of the legitimacy of the debt along with the authority of the CONgress during that time. The legal thinking is that if the debt is seen as valid, then the authority of the agency behind the debt (i. e. CONgress) is likewise legitimate. Legally, the CONgress of the United States ceased to exist when the Southern representative left. It ceased to be a valid legitimate agency of the government at that time. By stopping the debate on the debt, they secured the appearance of legitimacy. Their ploy makes it unconstitutional to even question them, since at the time of approval, they were above the law. The Constitution now protected them and their illicit acts from legal challenges.
In the 14th amendment, the CONgress also violated the 10th amendment of the Constitution by stripping the States of much of their power. They also broke the constitution by their passage of section 3, which is an ex post facto law. Although the Constitution forbids those kind of laws from being passed, they did so with this amendment. The whole process was illegal and the legal theory used was inconsistent. The CONgressmen broke the law and used the 14th amendment to protect themselves from wrongdoing. It was a shameful act, with a shameful history.
The 14th amendment is law only because they say it is. It was not passed in a lawful manner. It is not a legitimate law. It is law only because the government uses force to make it so.
Free the South!

The study of authority is a fascinating one, especially when it comes to governments. The question quickly arises, “By whose authority” things are done. As kids, we often put this in the form of the question, “Who made you the boss?” This becomes a key question in today’s society for two big reasons, first, whatever is identified as the source of authority can remove that authority, and secondly, the source of authority is also the key to changing that authority.
In the case of the national government, Robert L. Dabney nailed it:
“The constitution of the United States was, therefore wrong, in that it omitted all reference to Almighty God as the source of its powers; and that of the late Confederate States was right in doing so”.
Wow! The CSA identified Almighty God as the source of its governmental authority. Hence it had moral authority to demand obedience to its laws. The US government identified its source of power as the people/the States. The wording makes it difficult to sort out which gave it the authority. If it is the people, then the US is essentially a ‘mob rules’ government. Such a government does not have any moral authority from ‘on high’, but rather the moral basis of its power comes from social consensus. If the majority of the people change their opinion, then something becomes acceptable. We have seen that with how the government has dealt with abortion, infidelity, illicit drugs, and homosexuality. The government is even now dealing with the issue of marriage. Since it has abdicated its ‘higher authority’, it cannot take the strong position based on moral conviction, because ‘God said so’. It has to acquiesce to the social consensus. As the population of the nation changes, its laws will change, since they are based on the consensus. A government that can be changed based on the authority of the people will be susceptible to the ‘winds of change’, whereas a government whose authority is given by Almighty God can take moral stands in an unwavering manner. Part of the problem with the authority being with the people, they can choose to ‘disobey’ and not be under any moral conviction for having done so. The authority of a people driven system has to be committed to the compulsory use of force. Force is what keeps such a government together. Although the empire may enlist pastors to use Romans 13 as an appeal to keep people in line, they abdicated the right to make that claim long ago, when they decided that they knew better than God how to run a nation. They further lost it when they removed prayer from schools, the Bible from public buildings, Bible readings from travelers on missions to the moon. Yes, they still emblazon the coinage with “In God we trust”, but their actions indicate that their loyalties lie elsewhere. If they trusted in God, they would call out to him and return to his ways. They have chosen to forgo his wisdom and instead make decisions in their own wisdom regarding marriage, sexuality, abortion, the reading and distribution of the Bible and other issues. The government that can make an appeal for the people to follow Romans 13 is one whose laws are not contrary to those of scripture. When the government has surrendered the higher spiritual authority it must rely on force when questions arise, “who made you boss?”. It becomes a thugocracy. In previous generations, people could have answered that they are the God-ordained authority, and that disobedience of disregard of what they said was at ones own peril in this life and the next. The present occupational government cannot make that claim with the voice of authority.
God Save the South,

The presidential candidate John Edwards is now saying that he would ask Americans to give up their SUV’s. I wonder if this includes the limousines and private planes used by government officials? My guess is that it would not include them. There would be some special clause for that. I posted earlier concerning my frustration in Harris County with the Port of Houston’s pollution and how the common man is made to suffer hardships rather than putting the burden on those producing the pollution. Rather than deal with the issue of stewardship, they want everyone to sacrifice. Small cars may work for east coasters, but it would be very impractical for traveling Texas. If the people are foolish enough to sacrifice, who will benefit?
Edwards did recommend that the Empire’s military equipment be made in the Empire. I guess he is tired of our troops wearing boots made in China. In previous generations, leaders recognized the need to have troops equipped with items made in the home country. This is a good idea, but it comes awfully late. Since he is running for presidente, I suspect that much of his rhetoric is about getting votes rather than substance.
Let’s take a look at where Mr. Edwards stands on issues concerning the South…
He supports affirmative action
He’s OK with the Patriot Act
He views racial inequality as a major issue in his campaign.
He opposes reparations for slavery, but still wants some for of government hand-outs.
and…..
Q: Do you believe the Confederate flag should be displayed at state government buildings?A: South Carolina, as a matter of compromise, displays the Confederate flag on a flagpole in front of the state capitol. Because I grew up in the South and believe that the Confederate flag is a very divisive symbol I have stated publicly a number of times that I believe that South Carolina should remove the flag from the state capital grounds.
Q: Are you saying that the votes of those who fly the Confederate flag are too loathsome to even accept?EDWARDS: Dean still has not said he was wrong [to seek those votes]. Were you wrong to say that?
DEAN: No, I wasn’t. People who vote who fly the Confederate flag, I think they are wrong because the Confederate flag is a racist symbol. But I think there are lot of poor people who fly that flag because the Republicans have been dividing us by race since 1968 with their southern race strategy. I am tired of being divided by race in this country. I want to go down to the South and talk to people who don’t make any more than anybody else up north but keep voting Republican against their own economic interests.
EDWARDS: The last thing we need in the South is somebody like you coming down and telling us what we need to do. I grew up in the South. I grew up with the very people that you’re talking about. The vast majority don’t drive around with Confederate flags on pickup trucks.
No thanks Mr. Edwards. We do not need any more Scalawags in the Imperial City. Your positions are inconsistent. If it is up to the states to decide on gay marriage, why is it not up to the states to decide the Confederate flag issue. If we are all equal, then government has no business pushing hand-outs, it is not governments job. John Edwards would not advance Southern freedoms. His intention would do just the opposite.

The people of Harris County has a problem and it is named the Port of Houston. After deceiving the people of Harris County and tricking them into approving the construction of Bayport, the Port of Houston Authority is now going to build another container terminal in Galveston. The greed and reach of the parties involved reaches beyond Texas. The port and associated railroads are also attempting to take away traffic from Lake Charles, Louisiana. The port already handles 94% of Texas waterway trade.
Although the environmental impact statements said that it was safe to build Bayport, why are they having to construct sound barriers and take care of environmental concerns? If it was safe to begin with, then such major financial outlays for the brand new terminal would not be needed. The port has made major contributions to pollution in Harris County. How could that be? Well, the EPA just happens to lower the pollution standards for Harris County. With the revised standards, the port now meets air quality standards. This is quaint. The federal government bends over backwards for the port, but they have a track record of prosecuting minor violators over much more trivial matters. If they lowered the standards for cars, there would be no need for the ethanol requirement either.
It is reportedly because of pollution that Harris County has to use the ethanol enhanced gasoline. If the Bayport terminal had not been built, perhaps the pollution level from trucks, diesel trains, large sea going ship diesels and heavy machinery at the port would not have made the debacle that residents of the County must endure.
It is almost comical how the port has in the past denied any responsibility for the eye sore of container stacked high at the Barbour’s Cut container terminal, yet they are more than willing to spend the money and build more terminals. Are they or are they not responsible for the containers at their facilities? This whole project has many federal dollars being pumped into it and has been filled with dirty politics. The final environmental studies were conveniently postponed until the construction on the port was begun.
The Bayport terminal itself boasts about the massive cranes it uses, which were constructed in China. The use of Chinese products rather than American made ones is also a concern. Chinese shipping concerns have a major presence at the port as well. Despite these concerns all the politicos who make their pilgrimage to the port from Mordor on the Potomac, praise its construction and contribution to the economy. Apparently more growth is expected as numerous distribution centers and warehouses are being constructed throughout the area. There is big money and big government behind this deception and Leviathan of a project. It is a graphic example of how the citizens are being ignored and trampled on by the powers that be for the sake of making a buck.
At least the community of Seabrook has the courage to challenge the Leviathan in court concerning its legal jurisdictions and authority. It will be interesting to see what the outcome and fallout will be after all the appeals and retrials.
This Bayport mess is an issue of concern for Southrons. It concerns property rights, in that large land grabs have been involved. It concerns voting rights in that by putting the votes to the county at large waters down the voting strength of those communities effected by the project. It concerns the sovereignty of local communities to decide what is in their best interest. It concerns the loss of freedoms due to regulatory burdens placed on residents of Harris County. It concerns the Feds trampling the power and wishes of Texas agencies and residents. It concerns the development of the area in preparation of the widening of the Panama Canal. It concerns urban industrial sprawl. It concerns the health of those people living within proximity to it. It concerns 4.1 billion dollars of taxpayer money spent on this monster. It is an issue of importance to freedom and liberties. It is an issue of concern to Texas and the economic welfare of those involved. It concerns government lies and cover-ups.
Free Texas from such monsters!

A disturbing observation I have seen is that many Americans spend more time evaluating the groceries they purchase than they do the politicians they elect to operate the government. People evaluate the ingredients in the grocery stores, but do not consider the ingredients of their politicians. A prime example is Senator Larry Craig. Although he claims, “I am not gay”, a perusal of his recent behavior paints a different picture. At least on the cans in the grocery store, there is some truth in disclosing the ingredients. On an ironic note, Mr. Craig has been at the forefront of increasing penalties for many offenses while serving on the judiciary comittie.
If we purchased groceries like we elect politicians, we would only look at the package and listen to the advertising while believing every word. Shopping like that would be foolish. Likewise, shopping for politicians without considering their character is foolish. What they say can not be believed. They are trained to say things to help us believe what we desire to hear. Look at the tyrant in chief and his current plan to put the empire under UN control in the event of a health crisis. Giving up any sovereignty to the UN is a mistake. Although the tyrant says he represents”his nation”, his actions make it clear that he does not know what his nation is. He cannot manage his children and their behaviors, which tells us something. Hillary Clinton has been unable to manage her marriage. Rudolf Guiliani’s law firm has shown repeatedly that they have no reservations about associating with the unsavory Hugo Chavez. The same law firm is also deeply involved in the TTC (Trans-Texas Corridor) sell out. Although Newt Gingrich has talked about running, he has not managed his family in an exemplary manner either. The dangerous preaching emanating from Barak Obama’s home church also raises concerns about the influences he is under. I find it odd that in his 2006 Senate campaign, he received $102, 150 dollars in contributions from the Austin/Sam Marcos area of Texas. Why are Texans financially supporting candidates for office in Illinois? Five of his top contributors are law firms. It is odd that although the law firm of Mayer, Brown, et. al. contributed $69, 960 to his 2006 campaign, the lobbying database reports that no money was contributed. When I see contradictions in information, especially concerning money, many questions start popping up in my mind.
The media function as obedient lap dogs, covering only the policies espoused by the politicos, and do not expose much of the character, beliefs or the lifestyles of the candidates, when these are issues that matter. If they were products on the grocery shelves, the list of ingredients has left out many of the key ingredients and additives. How is it we are expected to buy what they are selling us with a minimal amount of scrutiny?
Since politicians influence out lives on a daily basis, we need more disclosure from them than we have been receiving.
In a free South, issues like character would be discussed. The way a person conducts their lives, their beliefs, and values would be open for discussion. Those same beliefs, behaviors and values are the fabric of their political decisions and need to be discussed.

In laboring in causes such as ours, there will be times that you run out of steam or become overwhelmed with discouragement. This is when drawing inspiration from past heroes is important. It is not by chance that even in scripture, that testimonies have great power in helping to obtain victories. Here in Texas, there are many heroes that we can draw inspiration from. Over the weekend, I had a chance to deliver a talk on one Texas hero that is often overlooked in contemporary society. His name is Tom Green. Tom was a major figure in early Texas. He took the lead in many areas of Texas. He fought for Texas Independence, the Republic of Texas, and finally Texas in the Confederacy. Governor Murrah referred to him as the “Charles Martel of Texas”. In contemporary society most people do not even know who Charles Martel is. My family knows, in fact my sons are descendants of Charles Martel. People like Tom Green can give us inspiration and encouragement through their testimonies and the trials they overcame. Other you may want to consider learning about include Hiram Granbury, Pendleton Murrah, President Lamar, Santos Benevidas, and Lawrence S. Ross (whose birthday is next month). These are people who were willing to take stands and overcame many obstacles in their lives.

An odd news story that surfaced over the weekend concerned a Frontier Airlines plane where a man attempted opening the door mid-flight. Most of the news reports decline to mention the man’s name, although one report said that he was “Asian”. This little tidbit came from the interviews with the passenger that restrained him. Recall that with the incident in Scotland, the term “Asian” is used to avoid mentioning that they are Middle Eastern.
There have also been some odd events around Texas this summer. There was a pipeline explosion of unkown origin in Rusk County. There was a bomb threat at the McAllen airport. There were also two fires involving acetylene tanks, one in Houston and another in Dallas. Authorities have found similarities between the incidents, but few facts have been released. There were also explosions at a gas facility in Dallas that shut down two interstate freeways. These are just the major events and not just the pranks or minor incidents. Besides not giving out names of persons who try to open doors on jets, could there be other incidents that are not being discussed because the citizens might get angry and want action? Perhaps these are all accidents with no links or commonalities. Given the history of the Feds not being truthful with the citizens, it would not be past them to obfuscate details or keep us in the dark on matters. If the man who attempted opening the door had been a “good old boy”, the press would have the man’s name, photo and home address plastered all over the internet and broadcast airwaves within minutes of the event occurring. There is a duplicity here in how news is reported. By calling the man an “Asian”, there could be a wide range of possible options, although the track record of the press is to use “Asian” to avoid saying Middle Eastern.
In a free south, the immigration laws would be enforced. Rather than making the priority of the justice department chasing down music downloaders, the focus would be on enforcing the laws needed to make the nation safe. Rather than the border patrol saying it is not our job to catch illegal immigrants, they would see to it that the borders were secure. In a Southern nation, the big threat may be the northern borders with all the Yankees seeking to immigrate and find a better way of life.
For a Free Texas,
J Murrah
