Yesterday I posted on the Equality vs. Liberty issue. In the news today was a report on the United Church of Christ and how they now condone same-sex marriages based on, you guessed it-equality Same-sex unions OK . In advancing the issues of cultural and political independence of our people, it is sad that a church has sold out Biblical authority for equality. The saying that "the cause of the South is the cause of us all" grows truer every day. The struggle between obtaining God-given liberty and adhering to the empire with its push for equality is striking. The empire wants illegal criminal immigrants to have equal rights to education, health care and other services as much as native citizens do. The current politicos do not recognize that rights have responsibilities. To exercise rights also means that you will do so responsibly and you will shoulder that burden of extra responsibility.
Equality is what ruined the boy scouts, equality is what has changed high school sports, the emphasis on equality over liberty is destroying the cultural institutions. (This is what the Empire wants, to remake the institutions, to reshape the whole culture. As Southrons we saw this before with reconstruction I, then in the sixties with the civil rights movement, there was reconstruction II, and now we are going through reconstruction III). All reconstructions done in the South have focused on changing society, societal attitudes, institutions and laws to reflect the views favored by the empire. The present reconstruction is to prepare us for the North American Union/Globalist view of things (aka ‘the universalist nation). The distinctiveness of the South is under assault, and has been for some time. One writer observed that the same cast of characters are on opposing sides with the Confederate issues and the immigration issues.Immigration issues/Confederate issues .
Somehow the ‘responsibility’ part of the quotient disappears, unless there is a court settlement, in which case people are responsible for more than they ever dreamed. Society cannot function with that kind of schizophrenic logic behind it. There has to be consistency in how policies are carried out.
Such are the fruits of equality. Knowing what those fruits are, let us strive for liberty.
