The Empire at work

It seems that the Empire is determined to go through with its plans for the North American Merger, with Texas in the middle of things. Now that the State Legislators passed a moratorium on constructing the private toll road, the Empire is threatening to "cut the purse strings".Feds threaten to cut funding This maneuver is nothing more than force by another name. It is bullying plain and simple. The Empire wants it and it will force its State minions to dance to the tune it decides to play. The Empire does not respect the authority of the states and does not want states to speak up for their rights.

Texas should not have to kowtow to the FEDS. It sickens me to see this kind of strong arming going on. It is as if they are saying, "You can do whatever you like in your states as long as it meets with our approval".

What gets really interesting is when you consider the question, "Qui Bono?". Who benefits from this NAFTA stuff? Follow the money trail and the real truths start coming out. The private company is Spanish owned. Why should we care about some Spanish company getting the exclusive rights to build, and collect tolls in this country? Having been to Europe, the toll roads like the 1 Euro coins. Could the push for the new $1 coins be somehow connected to the push for toll roads? Or is it coincidence?

Is it coincidence that the Mexican legislature passed approval of abortion against the outcry of the public in that nation, or is this part of the deal they had to make in order to smooth the transition to the North American Union? Union—There is something about that word that irritates me.  Being Confederate History month the word is especially offensive. If history repeats itself, the South fought the old Union and will have to take action on the new Union.

The Relentless Attack on Southern Culture

Some critics dismiss the claim by Southerners that their culture is under attack are paranoid. By making such claims, the critics do not have to consider what is being said. On visiting the store today, I looked at the movies for sale. There always seems to be some movie that makes traditional Southerners look bad. Whether it is some movie extolling the virtues of meddling civil rights workers, small town judges, Southern social mores, or uneducated hicks, they find some way to paint and re-paint the culture in a negative light. The painting and re-painting is almost as if they have to repeatedly whitewash the fence to keep those uppity Southerners in their place. It is sad that Hollywood and the Yankee establishment have to put down the South in order to feel good about themselves and make Southerners feel guilty about their past.

The way the films come out, it is as if a constant reprogramming or re-construction effort is continually underway. As Southron, we need to resist those stereotypes and challenge them. Don’t buy their stinkin’ movies. If Southrons were more careful about their purchases, then Hollywood would wake up to the reality of what is not selling. Southrons could riot, but it is not in the nature of honorable people to use such tactics, unlike other groups who consider rioting a viable way of expressing their disapproval.

I tried watching some of the History channel’s program on Sherman. I knew better than to try. The half-truths presented were appalling. I was wondering when the trumpets were going to sound announcing the arrival of the royal robe and crown for him. He was vulgar, cruel and vindictive. His actions reveal what kind of man he was. Scripture tells us that a double minded man is unstable in all his ways. Sherman’s actions illustrate in vivid terms his duplicitous ways. Idealizing this man who orchestrated wanton destruction of the Southern peoples and the Indian nations is typical for Yankees to do. Even in his attitude toward African-Americans Sherman was not humane by any stretch of the imagination. In today’s terms, he was "a hater". For the Yankee establishment to embrace him and portray him in such a favorable light also says a lot about the History channel. They are clearly more interested in a political agenda than one based on facts. The carefully selected choices of commentators insured a favorable view of Sherman and his atrocious acts.

The answer to such things is to support good Southern writers. Ed DeVries just published a book, The Christian Generals Volume III - Brigadier-General Richard Montgomery
Gano.
Brian Cisco just published War Crimes Against Southern Civilians  through Pelican Press. Getting the truth out is important. I have been reading my proof copy of my latest book, Texans Always Move Them: A True History of Texas, which should be available by mid-May. Get the truth instead of Hollywood’s version of it.

Bush=Lincoln

If there was any doubt regarding the comparisons of the Tyrants Bush and Lincoln, they are now mortified. Bush has  officially made that comparison. Bush compares self to Lincoln . The old saying "Birds of a feather flock together" is very apparent in this comparison. Lincoln disregarded the Constitution, ran roughshod over Congress, restructured government to his design, used religious talk to deceive the people, cursed like a sailor, lied when it suited him, allowed his generals to engaged in an illegal war, provoked the war that killed thousands of Southerners, and used race as a political tool. Yep, I can see the similarities. Lincoln also set up his secret Pinkerton services, which I am sure that Bush has taken similar steps. I agree with the President that he is like Lincoln. And being like Lincoln, he poses a threat to freemen throughout the South (and the world).

It has been said that "truth is stranger than fiction". For Bush to compare himself with Lincoln says a lot. Southron thinkers have noted the similarities and commented on them. Now He openly admits it. With such a comparison, the lessons learned throughout Georgia and the Carolinas are very appropriate at this time. At numerous homesteads, they shouted "Hide the hams and guns, the Lincolnites under Sherman (Yankees) are coming!" . Those backwoods freemen saw the threat that Lincoln posed, can we see the threat that the New Lincoln poses?

Cinco de Mayo and San Jacinto

I was pleasantly surprised that there were several celebrations for San Jacinto Day around these parts. Although the day is commemorated, the celebrations are often rolled into other activities, almost as if they were hiding its true significance. The events commemorating San Jacinto Day were all decent and upright forms of activities. The celebrations for San Jacinto pale in comparison to Cinco de Mayo celebrations. Although the commander of the Mexican forces was a Texan, that is rarely mentioned. Cinco de Mayo is often a riotous excuse to drink. Perhaps this type of celebration is fitting for the holiday and culture. Texas does have a legitimate reason Cinco, yet I do not understand the massive celebrations throughout the south of the holiday. It is one of the few celebrations of a military victory done on a large scale.

During the time that Cinco occurred, we were at war with the Yankees. There were numerous battles of larger size and of greater significance than Cinco. I guess that celebrating Cinco is safe since you do not offend a Yankee in doing so. Although it is a major NO-NO to fly another nations flag in Mexico, they do not hesitate to do so here. I wonder if the celebrants forget where they are, and the freedoms they have here. If they remembered the freedoms they had in Mexico, it seems that they would want to celebrate it there.

These are just of few observations on culture and celebrations.

Our culture is worth preserving.

Support Scottish Independence!

First off, you have an opportunity to DO SOMETHING about supporting other independence movements. The Scotsman is taking a survey regarding the recent referendum for independence of Scotland. I strongly encourage you to vote. Poll regarding Indpendence . I remind you that a vote for Scottish Independence is a step closer to our independence.

Many other nations of the world have given their people the right to vote in referendums concerning their independence, but not us. Quebec, Nevis, and now  Scotland. Perhaps Uncle Sam gives less respect to his subjects than does John Bull, our neighbor to the north or even the Caribbean nation of St. Kitts. If Uncle Sam had the courage of the leaders of that tiny Caribbean nation, we could have our independence. But no, instead the media portrays the US as the "freest nation on earth". We may have our technological toys, but we do not have the freedom to have such a referendum, nor the freedom to purchase automatic weapons without the governments permission, nor the freedom to conduct business with places like Cuba without the permission of Uncle Sam. The Yankee government has taken away many freedoms and is considering taking away even more in the wake of the Virginia Tech episode.

It surprises me that the politicos see guns as the issue and not immigration. Consider how many immigrants, both legal and criminal have been involved in criminal acts leading to peoples deaths. Here is a good article on the matter.Gun control or immigration control? Criminal immigrants have been involved in increasing numbers  with assault, rape and vehicular manslaughter, yet there is little outcry to register or monitor them. It is unlikely there will be, since guns do not vote, but politicos want to give criminal immigrants the right to drive and vote.

Well, you can sit and moan about the way things are or …..DO SOMETHING. Today you can vote.

Happy San Jacinto Day!

Happy San Jacinto Day!

This is a day that patriots everywhere should make observance and give thanks. On 21 April 1836, a small band of Texians shook the world with their defeat of the Mexican army. It’s defeat in one of the ten most important battles in History. It shocked Mexico, the united States and the world. It signified that a small group of people, determined to exercise their sovereignty can and do make a difference. In defeating Santa Anna, one of the largest land deals ever took place. The area of Texas transferred from the authority of Mexico to that of the Republic of Texas (NOT the authority of the US!). Yankees have hijacked too much of OUR history and have turned it into an expression of US independence, which it was not. It was Texas Independence. For Hispanics, the war was their version of the Civil War, with brothers and families being split over which side to support. The ramifications of that afternoon on the fields of San Jacinto are momentous. Although the fields of Waterloo shook the whole of Europe, the fields of San Jacinto shook the whole of North America.

TEXIANS! Celebrate your independence. Do something to express it! Violate some Mexican statute (like stomping on a Mexican flag, and while you are at it violate the UN flag. TO further chap the UN, buy a handgun) or Federal law-Show them that Texas is its own and its people are their own. For those of you in San Antonio for the Battle of the Flowers. Recall that the whole celebration began as an observance of San Jacinto Day. Although political correctness has watered it down, it began as a celebration of Texas gaining its independence.
—————————–

April is also the month that New Orleans fell in 1862. Even in its demise, the attitude of the people was "We are conquered, but not subdued!". Keep the spirit of independence alive. "We are occupied, but not subdued!"

Hooray for Texas!

Remember the Alamo! Celebrate San Jacinto!

Remembering April 1861

Being Confederate History Month, it behooves us to remember the lessons learned from the experiences of our Confederate forbearer s. On 19 April 1861, there was the episode of the Baltimore riots. A that point the people rose up against an oppressor and took action to prevent Yankee troops from passing through their city. The Feds did not respect the wishes of the people then, and they still don’t. Although their leader, the Tyrant Lincoln talked about government of the people, by the people and for the people, he did not believe it. He practiced a centrally controlled and bureaucratic form of government, that paid lip service to issues, but was largely concerned with government subsidies and protectionist policies.

Comparing matters between 1861 and 2007, little has changed, the Federal government remains oppressive. It continues censoring speech, continues a militaristic policy of using force to exercise its will. It is still focused on subsidizing its pet constituents and businesses. Are there other similarities? Let’s see, in 1861, there was talk of a draft, and in 2007 John Murtha is leading the talk about a draft. In 1861 the Feds took action in Baltimore to silence free speech and in 2007, the CONgress is considering action to limit free speech. During the summer of 1860, the weather was wacky, and people were concerned about it. In 2007, the weather is again wacky and people are concerned about what it means. In 1861 many CONgressmen were concerned about human rights with the Dred Scot Supreme Court case and in 2007, many CONgress critters are concerned about human rights with the recent supreme court case concerning partial birth abortions.

Overall, the Fed is the same old monster, with more power and a bigger budget. It even uses the same tactics.

April is also the anniversary month for Columbine, Waco, Oklahoma City, and Fort Sumter. The Feds  do not have a track record of protecting government facilities or their people.  The track record is dismal, yet we are told to do our duty as Americans and pay your taxes every April 15, so that the Gubermint can do even more for to you, your family, your church, your institutions. The Feds clamped down on Baltimore like they did on Waco.

19 April is a good day to think about what your government has done for you. To reflect on how the Yankees clamped down on Baltimore, putting the innocent in jail, putting their elected officials in jail, and opening fire on the people.

Have you had enough yet? Are you mad enough yet?

A free Dixie would see to it that its people are freeholders, not living in fear of government seizures. The people’s income would not be taxed. Our sons and daughters would not be fighting in imperialistic wars on foreign soil. Our government leaders would not be afraid to speak the name of Jesus. Jefferson Davis was never ashamed to mention Jesus. He shared his faith with others openly. Does your President talk about his Jesus?

In remembrance,

No Jesus, No Surprise!

In the aftermath of the tragedy at Virginia Tech, some conservatives are surprised that the Convocation did not mention Jesus as if it were surprising Surprise at no mention of Jesus . My family and I were not surprised at the incident. This is a sign of the times. There was even some concern that the Tyrant in chief did not mention Jesus. No surprise there for me. When he was running for President, he removed references to Jesus from his website. He is still the same. I often hear "But he’s a Christian". WELL, he may read his Bible, but has he shown that he is not ashamed of Jesus. We are told very clearly about those who are ashamed of his name.

Besides leaving out the name of Jesus, what else has the MSM left out? They leave out that on the killers arm was written in red "Ismail Ax". This little clue has been swept under the rug. Do a search yourself on Ismail and see what comes up. It is another spelling for Ishmael, considered one of the prophets of Mohammedism. Additionally, the tapes the killer sent to NBC contained many anti-Christian tirades. Based on the identification with Ismail and the anti-Christian rhetoric, it could be classified as a ‘hate crime’, but that would not play well in the press and it might upset the electorate. His mental state is definitely in question as it is with all mass murderers. I doubt that the MSM will address that issue, or how there has been a rash of immigrants (legal and illegal) involved in violent crimes lately.  Instead they will focus on guns and the accessibility of guns Guns seen as a problem . (BTW, although the article identifies guns as the problem and the Scots are surprised at the prices, he could have purchased one cheaper at a pawn shop.)

I told my family this morning that the real problems are the ones the press leaves out of the stories.

There are many things the people need to wake up to. By their fruits you shall know them (in other words, look at what politicians do, NOT at what they say).

Considering the Pledge of Allegience

Although many people say the pledge of allegiance to the US flag, few really consider the words or what they are doing. The words "one nation under God" flow from their mouths, but do they believe what they profess? If the ‘nation’ is under God, why does the flag code stipulate the US flag must have preeminence over even the Christian flag when used at church? Why do churches fly the Christian flag lower than the US flag? With their words, they profess one belief, yet with their actions, these things show that God and his church are under the authority of the Federal authorities.

Consider that the Almighty delivered powerful consequences to those who honored him with their lips, but not with their actions. Have those people who say the pledge considered what they are doing and the liability this exposes them to?

The Fed has been effective in changing the culture,  since now to be a ‘good American’ you say the pledge and display the flag. The pledge was only instituted by the Feds in 1942. It is not something that has gone on for generations since the founding fathers. It is not a ritual from our founders. It has only been in place for three generations. It was a wartime dog and pony trick that has stuck with the people. It gave them hope during WWII and now it is considered sacrosanct. It is a sacred cow. Well, it is time to kick the sacred cow. The US flag has no place in the churches of this land. sadly, many good, but ignorant Southerners will send their children to Vacation Bible School this summer where they will do their obligatory indoctrinations concerning the flag. Their children will also be indoctrinated at the government indoctrination centers (e.g. public schools) to accept this behavior without questions and without thinking twice about it.

Consider what you are doing. Consider how God considers any use of his name important. To handle it vainly or disrespectfully carries serious consequences. The pledge is a promise or oath. You are speaking an oath in God’s name. You are taking an oath concerning loyalty and priorities. Psychologically, the wording of the pledge and the flag requirements are at odds with each other, so to participate puts one in a mental and emotional double-bind. It intentionally confuses the Almighty with a national symbol. Nation becomes Deified and the Deity becomes Nationalized. A slick form of magic for the masses.

Wake up and smell the coffee (and the magnolias).

Welcome to the Peoples republik of Texas!

My jaws dropped when I read the article concerning the dissident list being compiled by Viceroy Perry Perry’s List . I never saw this one in the MSM. One of the scary features is that it is run by the Viceroy’s office , not DPS. DPS would have been the logical choice. To have politicos maintain a database is a clear case of the weasels running the hen house. Now that they have that list, and if criminals are so problematic, why don’t they take action? Such measures are not in the spirit of expanding our freedoms or punishing evildoers. Such databases are about power and control.

In other news, armed Mexican forces are operating listening posts and lookouts deep within the  national boundaries of the united States. Listening Posts  The lists of states where these are located includes Texas. Our sovereignty is eroding and the FEDs want to allow Mexican trucks full reign of the American highways. This does not sound like the America of 100 years ago, when trenches were dug along the border to house troops protecting our soil. Militia men also joined the military in patrolling the borders. (So the idea of the Minutemen is not new by any means).

Militia

At least 100 years ago, the people considered our borders sacrosanct.

These are just two indicators that jolted me to reality this morning. So often I want to post on historic and cultural items. but when egregious items like these come along, I have to let others know about them. "Ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free".

For a Free Southland,
