The Feds are at it again!

Texians,

It has long been held that liberals use the courts to achieve what they can not through legislation. Today there are two flagrant cases of this happening. In the first, a federal judge has ordered (get that-ORDERED) the Treasury department to change the whole monetary system of the united States.Judge Orders Treasury Concerning Money . To me that sounds pompous. The next thing you know, some judge will order the money be printed in other languages so that people can read it. Consider that on the new dollar coin, the word dollar has been removed and replaced with "$1".

The other case of judicial activism concerns the supreme court.
Supremes to hear global warming case In this case, some of the "green" states are suing in order to ‘force’ the government to monitor exhaust emissions on new cars. It seems that the powers that be in the green states did not like the laws passed in Congress, so now they are using the courts to try to FORCE change upon the populous. This one has some potential fallout for each of us.

I would make a joke about how the ‘hired hands’ are up to something, but these guys were never hired. The foxes are running the legal chicken coup. The antics of such judges and plaintiffs in these cases is laughable. Sadly they take themselves seriously. They are so out of touch with the common man, they view themselves as minor deities similar to the Senators of Rome in former days.

What has government done for you today? -Changed our money and may soon change our cars.

The Yankee Motto

In reading the news this morning, the headline on World Net Daily caught my eye (New US dollar hides In God We Trust ). My 9-year old saw the headline and commented that the US has never trusted God. I was taken aback at first and then reconsidered his statement. Although the phrase "In God We Trust" was added in 1957. Shortly after that, in the early 60’s America took prayer out of schools. Lawsuits were filed after the astronauts read from the Bible on viewing the moon in 1968. The actions of the courts clearly indicate that America has not truly trusted in the God of the Bible. They trust in a God of their own making. The scary thing is the serious consequences involved in taking the Lord’s name in vain (e.g. using it lightly or without respect). Will HE take this affront to HIS name so lightly. Bear in mind that, the motto began during the War of Northern Aggression. It began when the Yankees wanted to drum up support for their cause in the aftermath of the New York riot (THE TRUE civil war). The use of the motto was a calculated war measure. It was a ploy to make the Yankee population believe that what they were involved in was a just and moral cause. It was a mindtrick, and nothing more.

I was told by my grandparents that "The chickens always come home to roost". Well, all the clucking and chatter over the minimizing of the motto, suggest that its getting near roosting time. It is ironic how so many raise such a ruckus about the wanting to maintain the use of God’s name in the pledge and the motto, when those very things are leading to destruction and curses because they handle the name of the Almighty in such a haughty fashion.

I know there are some that say the founding fathers believed in God. Many of them did, and were Bible believing God-fearing people. Yet, some were Deists who did not serve the God of the Bible. A close examination of the references to the Almighty reveal that the  in the early documents, there were many compromises in references to HIM, and none that specifically identifies HIM as the God of the Bible. Check your Constitution and Declaration of Independence and cross reference them with the Confederate Constitution and you will see what I mean. On pondering my sons words, he was correct. "Out of the mouths of babes"…

Anniversary of Battle of Missionary Ridge

25 November 1835 marks the birthday of the Texas Navy. The accomplishments of the Texas Navy are something we should all be proud of. Their activity in the Gulf of Mexico prevented invasion by sea of our Republic. They also helped Texas gain admission to the table of nations. The admission of Texas to the table of nations was also helped by the French.

It irks me when so called ‘real Americans’ badmouth the French. Without French help, the American revolution would have fizzled out. The French were also the first European nation to welcome Texas as a nation. Many badmouth the French just because the French do not support the imperialistic designs of Leviathan.  That very nation they badmouth is the one that kept  the young Republic of Texas protected from Mexican invasion  during the Pastry War. Although President Houston accepts the glory for keeping it safe, the reality was it was the French fleet and army that kept Santa Anna at bay while the young Republic of Texas took its first steps. It was also President Houston that vetoed the claims the Republic of Texas made on Cozumel Island. Free Texas! Reclaim Cozumel!

25 November 1863 marks the date of the Battle of Missionary Ridge. This is one battle that showed the true stuff that Texians are made of. In that battle, when other units were breaking and running, Cleburne’s Texas Brigade held. They fought back two Yankee attacks on their position along Missionary Ridge (or Tunnel Hill). The remarkable thing is that they had no ammunition during those attacks. They halted and pushed back those two assaults with ROCKS. The courage of such men is astounding. I am also amazed at the precision that their throws must have been. Would that the children of today could throw rocks like the men of Cleburne’s Texas Brigade. The story of these men is a modern David and Goliath. These brave men from Texas held when others ran and in holding, stood firm to their colors and had the resolve and tenacity to use whatever resources they had available. They were not going to be defeated, and it is only the preservation of the Almighty that allowed them to survive the  attacks that day. When men in the right stand their ground, trust their God, and use their wits, the enemy cannot resist. During this time of giving thanks, the bravery of these men deserve thanks.

For something that will stir your blood and remind you of the sacrifice they made, watch this video I am their flag . The speaker is H. K. Edgerton. If you have not had the opportunity to meet him, you have missed a blessing.

As Texians, 25 November is a date that we can be proud of. As Texians we need to be proud of our ancestors and express thankfulness for them. They did it for us. The least we can do is remember them and their brave acts.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is Thanksgiving. Traditionally, on a day of thanks, people would go to their respective houses of worship and give thanks to God. In our contemporary culture, I doubt that there will be many churches open today for prayer, etc. Despite such changes, I have much to be thankful for.

1) Quebec may be given (Quebec Nationhood ).
Img_5217_1

2) The Scottish National Party is gaining prominence and may soon have independence themselves. Everywhere one looks in Scotland are displays of the St. Andrew’s Cross screaming "This is Scotland!". (Scottish National Party) . The people have their own legislative assembly and have begun passing their own legislation. When I was there it was clear that they also had their own money as well.

3) The LOS fielded Ray McBerry for Governor of Georgia this year. His involvement in the race helped make people aware of many issues.

4) The secessionist meeting in Vermont was a success. The meeting allowed many persons to network in their efforts at reclaiming sovereignty. There was also some good press coverage that came out of the event as well.

5) In Texas, two independent candidates ran for Governor. Besides making history, they also showed that an independent can run for office in Texas.

6) Dixie Broadcasting has improved the quality of its service and is more reliable than it used to be.

7) Although under attack, Christianity continues prevailing. I am encouraged by the many people who have not been taken in by false profits, false shepherds, and those who would seek to water down if not outright steal the Word of God.

8) I am thankful that there are still Southrons around who care about truth and liberty, who care about the future of their children, who care about their heritage. In the Scottish Declaration of Independence, (aka Declaration of Arboroath), there is the following passage, "for so long as a hundred of us are left alive, we will yield in no least way to

English dominion. We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honours; but only and alone we

fight for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life." Having fellow Southrons and Texians who stand for truth is like modernising the pledge to say.."for so long as a hundred of us are left alive, we will yield in no least way to

Yankee dominion. We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honours nor empire building; but only and alone we

fight for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life." Dr. Hill often uses the Biblical phrase "abjuring the realm". This declaration is about abjuring the realm of Dixie.

We have a lot to be thankful for in our homeland as well as the homeland of kindred who seek their place at the table of nations. Deo Vindice! Solo Scriptura, Solo populi, Ducit Amor Patraie.

SPLC assisted research proves League is NOT a hate group!

Texians,

In searching the internet, I found a fascinating study Extremist Group Study .The research was done at the University of Arizona. They are attempting to identify the "dark net". It was funded by the Department of Homeland Security with assistance from the SPLC and the CIA. To start out with they used the SPLC to identify the groups and websites they investigated using several types of analytical tools.

While analyzing, they used hyperlink cues "..to confirm our initial manual site classification according to the SPLC categories". When I took research we were taught to let the findings tell you what truth is not classify your findings according to your expectations. I guess if you fund the research, you get some say so in the outcome. In graduate school a learned professor advised me to always look at who pays for the research because it will tell you what they will find. They also watered down the reliability numbers to "acceptable" levels rather than report on whether or not there was something significant.

What did they find? Well, "…there were only a few links between the neoconfederate cluster and the Christian Identity and white supremecy/neo-Nazi clusters." Keep in mind the associations are what the deem as "acceptable", NOT statistically significant. What links they found were weak. "…the link between the www.texasls.org and www.americanpatrol.org reflects a common interest in "protecting" the southern border and a common bitterness toward Hispanic illegal immigrants."

Think about what they are saying, the LOS and Texas LOS are associated with hate groups based on wanting to protect the borders and disliking criminal activity. I recall that the Bible mentions something about people who call good evil and evil good. With this kind of definition, the SPLC desires to condone criminals and considers it ‘hateful’ to protect the private property of this nation. There are some things that are just plain wrong, including condoning criminal behavior and not protecting one’s home.

Although the study contains some graphics due to the way they are laid out create an implied visual connection, their findings do not support what the researchers were looking for.

Bottom line. 1) Research does not support the claims of the SPLC that the LOS is a hate group, even when the SPLC helped with the research. 2) The "real" hate group is the SPLC based on its desire to harbor criminals, restrict free speech, and deny people the ability to protect their own homes. 3) Even with help of Homeland Security and the CIA, there is NO support for claims that the LOS is a hate group. 4) The only association the research found was because they "watered down" the statistics.

Despite these findings, the recent SPLC "hatewatch" update on their site documents the involvement of the LOS at the secessionist meeting in Vermont. (I would provide you with a link, but I do not want to associate with HATE groups).  I appears that for the SPLC facts are inconvenient things.

Paleo-Conservative view is wrong?

In a recent speech to the cadets at the Air Force Academy, the Attorney General made some eyebrow raising comments concerning those who hold to traditional (paleo-conservative) views of the 4th amendment and what it means. He effectively said that the paleo-conservative view that the 4th amendment means what is says is out-dated. He thinks that the idea that we should be safe from unwarranted search and seizure are mistaken. He believe we each have RESPONSIBILITIES toward government. Gonzales comment . He claims that no civil liberties have been sacrificed due to the Patriot act. This is double-speak at its finest. One cannot open a private bank account without "showing your papers", or board a plane without being cleared and having your  items in  selective amounts,  or take ones money into and out of the country as one pleases or read banned books without fear of government monitoring….etc. Tell this to  Hollis Wayne  Fincher in Arkansas (Fincher Blog update) who was arrested by zealous agents for exercising his  "freedoms".

Gonzales mentions no loss of freedoms because he is seeking warrantless surveillance. People having rights and needing warrants would hinder this activity. Following the Constitution and going through proper procedures is something he and the administration do not wish to do. Let me bring you to remembrance that Bush-Gonzales refused to follow procedures in Texas when they took the plaques down off the Supreme Court Building in Texas. They showed little respect for the law then and well,… the tiger does not change its stripes. It is of interest what some of the foreign news sources said of the comments Foreign Press on Gonzales . In this article, reporting on the same speech, Gonzales ties freedom to responsibility to government. Selah. He is effectively saying that we are free only as long as we do what government requires of us. Wish such a statement he is making freedom conditional, and denying that it comes from God. Our founding fathers made it clear that freedoms are God-given, NOT a privilege that is parceled out to us by our masters. Consider that his comments are not impulsive. He is acting as the spokesperson for the administration, and conveys the ideas and thoughts they have.

Such opinions reveal that Leviathan is operating as a tyrant. There is little respect for the rule of law. This situation is further underscored by Representative Tancredo claiming that the President views the united States as an idea rather than a specific place. As Southrons, we know the importance of place (kith). Dixie is a place, Texas is a specific place, not an idea.

On a note of Texas trivia. Gonzales is a graduate of the Air Force Academy. The Academy was originally planned to be located in San Antonio, Texas. President Eisenhower did a quick end around on Texas Congressmen and diverted it to Colorado. His actions are part of what motivated LBJ to later put forth the strong push to locate the Manned Space Center in Texas. (In politics, turnabout is fair play since they do not operate on a system of honour or justice).

The draft and other forms of hate

Texians,

If you have been a member of the League of the South for over two years, you will be familiar with Franklin Sanders famous, "I feel a draft". Well, Representative Charles Rangel, being his usual busybody self is once more announcing that he seeks to reinstate the draft news . Although he has done this in previous sessions, it will be of interest to see the wording of this legislation. Franklin Sanders once again had foresight in seeing this one coming. Recall that although our previous congresscritters often spoke out against re-instituting the draft, they saw to it that draft boards were staffed and bureaucracy was put in place for the local draft boards. Look at what they do NOT what they say. For more informations see, draft information . Although the Constitution prohibits involuntary servitude, what is forced conscription than a form of involuntary servitude?

Make no mistake, Leviathan wants your kids (both sons and daughters). It has to have them, for one reason, Leviathan is in debt. Your children and their earning potential are the collateral for this debt.

In other news, a student was tasered for refusing to show his ID Tasering.

Mark Potok of the SPLC recently made claims that hate speech and groups are a growing threat on college campuses Racism rears its head . A league member showed remarkable resourcefulness in answering the hate allegations. A portion of his wonderful response is included below. I checked out his information and you can see for yourself the extent of lies put out by the SPLC and the laziness of many media reporters in counting on the SPLC for information rather than researching it themselves.

Just where is the Hate in America?  I’ve found it and it’s the FBI, who is my
source, in their Uniform Crime Report at www.fbi.gov.  In 2004, there were a total of 7,649
Hate Crimes committed.  The entire "Old Confederacy" which, by the way, includes
Texas, the 2nd most populated state and Florida, the 4th most populated, had
total of 1262 Hate Crimes.  Lets’ go down the "Infamous List of Hate"  in the US
and find out  exactly where it really is.

California was far and away
Number One with 1393 Hate Crimes!  More than the entire Confederacy!  Number 2
is New Jersey with 769, 3rd is Michigan with 556, 4th is New York with 386, 5th
is Ohio with 353, and the great Commonwealth of Massachusetts with a sixth place
of 346 hate crimes.   Going through another Hate Crime Report a few years back,
I discovered that Fresno, California had more Hate Crime than the entire state
of Mississippi!  The numbers show that loosely with less than 30% of the
population the South has a Hate crime rate of less than half the rest of the
country!  I also make the point that most of the African-American population
lives in the South and that is some proof that African-American Southerners as
well as White Southerners get along generally pretty well as neighbors, friends,
and co-workers unlike more "enlightened" and segregated areas of the North and
the West Coast.  Texas, for comparison, had 309 Hate crimes with the 2nd most US
population, BTW.

So where is the Hate?  Is it in Southwest Virginia?  I
don’t think so!  It is in the minds of hateful anti-Southern bigots who
fantasize and project their own hateful bigotry on us Southerners.  Travel and
experience have told me where hateful people in this country live and the FBI
confirms it.  I’m attaching the link to the FBI site for your
"entertainment".

From the National Conference II

At the recent LOS national conference Dr. Hill Dr_hill_1
and other speakers addressed a variety of topics. In his talk, Dr. Hill encouraged Southrons to consider several things. One of those points to consider was "Ask yourself what the government has done for you, your family and community". Before reciting the mantra about how government is good, beneficial, etc. Seriously think about how much you spend in taxes and what you receive in return. Consider the national, state and local taxes. There are many school district, water district and hospital district taxes.  Although you pay all these taxes, do these government entities consider your views or promote the values you consider important? In all likelihood they do not. Do you have more freedoms today than you had in 2004? 2000? 1995? In all likelihood you are now paying more taxes than you did then, and have less services, less freedoms, and less responsiveness from government. In my congressional district we have been without representation for over six months. I have had no voice in national issues, thanks to a renegade judge in Austin, Texas. In your district things may be better. If you do not have more freedoms, consider the government has done to you and for you. Every year we have more illegal immigration, less freedom, less privacy, more taxes, less voice about property evaluations, and less responsive government schools. If you have prospered, which I hope you have, it is likely due to the blessings of the Almighty and your own sweat and  blood, NOT  the benevolence of  government agents (I am from the government and we are here to help  is one of those lines like the check is in the mail). In my community, the most effective assistance given to Katrina victims was through private efforts, NOT the government or Red Cross efforts. In those cases where government takes over, all that occurred was increasing the fostering of dependency on the system and milking the federal teats of more money. Government programs were more expensive and less effective than private efforts. Actions speak louder than words and if your government has spoken volumes with their actions, then maybe they are saying something about their own usefulness. There is a need for clean water, but we don’t need the flouridation, there is a need for some public services, but are they being provided efficiently. In all likelihood, the local governments are providing the needed services and the larger the entity, the less responsive and useful it  has become.Regan_detail

Is America Waking Up?

In reading the news on World Net Daily , they have had a series of stories on how Christianity is being wiped out from historic sites like this was something new. I have often seen the parallels between the saying about how the Nazis came for various groups and developed my own for America. First they came for the Southrons, then they came for the Founding Fathers and then they came for the Christians. We have seen this in our lifetime. Each of these areas has been systematically removed, cleansed or redefined to remove anything that might truly inspire us to achieve great things. As Texians and Southrons we have seen our history and culture removed and twisted into something that is hardly recognizable.

This is exactly what is occurring in Alvin Texas at Harby Junior High. The namesake of the school was a member of the UDC. The display cases contained many of her mementos, including confederate flag emblems. Two students have begun wearing Confederate clothing, claiming that it is acceptable. The district has responded with a vengeance on the the two boys. I was amazed at how the superintendent claims the boys are trouble makers and that the public does not understand that.
When I read that I recognized the sociological ploy of "Blaming the Victim". This ploy is often used to divert attention from the real issues.

Another incident occurred in the Houston area a few years back when the Museum of the Confederacy changed its name to the Museum of Southern History. The museum has some wonderful items, and its curator does an excellent job, but changing the name to avoid offending people and for marketability is still political correctness and truth purging. The bothersome point is that they decided to do it themselves, without being forced to.

I could go on with more examples, which we are all familiar with, including the purging of the founding fathers names from the schools in New Orleans, and the removal of the Confederate plaques from the Supreme Court building in Texas. I don’t know if the Katrina mess in New Orleans or Bush’s current political mess are divine retribution for "removing the landmarks which thy fathers have set", or just irony. It is awfully odd that those things happen when force is used to change history. President Davis told us that "Anything settled by force or in disregard of law is never truly settled."  Another southern saying is "Make sure the truth is dead before you bury it".

History is inconvenient for many of the new worlders  because it testifies of Almighty God and his hand in the affairs of men. Any change in regime requires a change in the myths that support it. The myths supporting the current imperial regime are cracking. People are waking up to that reality. The new myths are not strong enough to support the empire they have built. It is ironic that the military must swear oaths to "protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic". I even had to swear such an oath in order to teach at a local college for a while. In considering that oath, who has done more to threaten the Constitution: Iraq, Afghanistan, Al-Quidah and their cohorts or the imperial Presidency with rule by fiat and Congress?  A good read this morning is Worshipping the State . It will wake you up to some reality.

2007-Whose Year Will It Be?

Already, forces are at work concerning what figure will be lifted up to our youth. The Lincolnites wish to have all bow down at the feet of this tyrant and do obiscence to him. On the Southron side,  Robert E. Lee is being lifted up. 2007 will be the 200th anniversary of these men’s birth. We will face many choices concerning who will be our cultural icons. A lot can be discerned by the heroic figures admired by a people. It was not by accident that the Spartans put up statues of their king in Athens after conquering it. What do we see in the Imperial city now, the 2007 version of ancient practices the new memorial . This says a great deal about the Imperial mindset. Does it surprise anyone that the Clintons have been major movers in establishing the new memorial.

In preparing for "Who will own 2007?", there is a collection of articles on Lew Rockwell with plenty of facts for your use with tyrant worshippers Lincoln archive. "A wise man forseeth the evil and prepareth himself."  Already there has been some efforts at roping Alabama into the 2007 Lincoln fest. The state of Kentucky has also been pushing Kentucky as the "Home of Lincoln". I have already sent my letter putting forth the better choice of Jefferson Davis as the best president that state ever produced, in terms of policies, morals and character. Davis_1

The I have already seen evidence of Lincolnites with in the "Christian" publishing houses with references to his "good works".

We must also arm ourselves with information supportive of Robert E. Lee. Rev. Steve Wilkins wrote an excellent book on Lee (Call of Duty ). It can be found at many sights. For younger readers, there is Robert E. Lee, The Christian by William J. Johnston available at Christian Liberty Press . They also carry the series by Mary Williamson on JEB Stuart, Jackson and Lee. In homeschooling circles the trilogy by Mary Williamson was for many years standard reading (also available from Conservative book service ). Books such as these will prepare you and your children for the upcoming contest of who will be the man of the year for 2007.
